A sweet little doorway patch in for some awesome clients and their awesome dog on High street Kyneton. This was a fun little job and a good chance to make some drafted margins on the quoins to keep in with the heritage style of the building and a good opportunity to play around with some sand to match in with the original lime mortar (swipe right for sample board). It’s so great to be able to play a part in the history or these buildings in our local area and credit to anyone commissioning work to keep these buildings alive and functioning! @rosettastonework #stonemasons #macedonranges #kyneton #heritage #limemortar by @macedonrangesstoneworks

Our Malmsbury cottage project has all the stones in and is ready for a point up! Once the re sheeting of the roof plus having gutters, windows, and doors installed this once ruined building will have new life, and be once again a functioning part of this beautiful farm property. Really cannot wait to show everyone the final product. @rosettastonework by @macedonrangesstoneworks

The Ragdole cat out of Mt Gambier limestone is really coming along now. I’m really enjoying this piece, it’s been great fun playing around with the fur and getting the flow natural in appearance. This cat once finished will be available to purchase at the @bolobekgardenfair 3rd and 4th of October. Get yourself some tickets for a great day out! #macedonranges #bolobekgardenfair #limestoneragdollcat #stonemason by @macedonrangesstoneworks

I’ve been meaning to post the finished product of the boundary road project @rosettastonework and I finished off in May last year, and I will do a complete close up walk around video now all the landscaping and concreting has been complete when we return to the property in the near future. Until then, here’s a couple of average photos I snapped during the summer on a drive by, showing it off to some relatives. Gates done by the super skilled @bvm_metalctaft. A truely great and massive entrance project for some awesome and trusting clients. #stonemasons #macedonranges #bluestone #randomsneckedstyle #demosawsfordays by @macedonrangesstoneworks

The rebuilding section of the Lauriston cottage project is starting to come along nicely @rosettastonework. Nice and chunky traditional coursed bluestone, damn they are heavy. matching in the newly split stones with the old to make up the difference in lost material, luckily for us rock is in abundance on the property. This cottage was in a bad way, with the north wall mostly collapsed and a lot brickwork making up lost stonework due to alterations of yesteryear. It’s great to see it going back to its original form except with concrete foundations and lime mortar so it can be enjoyed again for many years to come. #stonecottagerestoration #macedonranges #history #bluestone #stonemasons by @macedonrangesstoneworks

A rugged Limestone lion for @chadwickandpartnersltd office space. I really enjoyed this sculpture, working in my little wooden shed in the backyard of my terrace house in Cumbria. #limestone #stonelion #lion #stonecarving #stonesculpture by @macedonrangesstoneworks

A Greenman I carved a few years ago when I first came home from England. Taking inspiration from the Aussie bush and using gum leaves as the foliage this time. Im pretty sure it’s Gosford sandstone. #greenman #sandstone #stonecarving #gumleaves by @macedonrangesstoneworks
