POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

With the #dallascowboys playing in Green Bay tonight there is a good chance we will see a Lambeau Leap.
This is MUCH harder than it looks.
I achieved this on my second attempt. Was here in GB in Jan of 15. This was a few days before the Cowboys played the Packers in an NFC Divisional round playoff game. I had the idea to do this in shorts and a t shirt, and gloves. Thank God I had gloves. I asked a Wisconsin TV reporter if he would film me trying this and he said, “Good luck. This is harder than it looks.”
1. I wasn’t allowed in the end zone, so my run up to the wall is maybe 7 yards.
2. It was snowing.
3. I’m not a pro athlete.
4. Near the wall the ground declines for drainage. So as you run up to the wall you are basically on a descent.
5. I’m not a pro athlete.
6. The wall is higher than I thought.
7. I’m not a pro athlete.
8. You have to run ip, put your hands on top of the wall and push yourself up to sit on top of it.
I just missed my first attempt, and the guy holding my phone was justifiably annoyed.
My phone was at 4% and knew if I was going to achieve this milestone I had to do it now and stick the landing.
Mission accomplished. I did the Lambeau Leap.

The Real Rocky Story: Author Mike Sielski on Stallone, Myth, and Going the Distance | Engel Angle

Sylvester Stallone got to play Rocky because he was cheap. Not because the studio thought he was a genius, but because he offered a minimal risk. Authenticity wins. #Rocky #SylvesterStallone #FilmMaking #Hollywood #BehindTheScenes #MovieMagic #Authenticity #MythBusting

The first clip is what a professional bowler looks like. Diana Zavjalova @zavjalovadiana is a machine.
The next clip is what a person who has bowled maybe once in the last 10 years looks like - not good.
I was fortunate to be on Zavjalova’s team last night at Tony Stewart’s @tsrsmoke charity event at Lucky Stirke Bowling in Euless, Texas.
About the only thing I can say about my bowling game is that nobody got killed.
Thank you @txmotorspeeday and Speedway Children’s Charities @scctexas for the invite.

Rocky turns 50, the classic fictional character that inspires people to this day.
Sly Stallone is out promoting his new book, and re-telling stories about the making of this movie. A lot of these Sly-told stories are myth, but accepted as fact.
Reporter and author @mike.sielski has a new book out, “Going the Distance,” which details the real story about the making of this brilliant film. This includes the story that Stallone wrote the script in 3 days.
Mike joined me on my podcast The Engel Angle to talk about this book, you can find it on @sunsetloungedfw

This woman is a national treasure- Red Panda. She’s been entertaining @nba and @wnba games for years.
She’s at the @dallaswings playoff game tonight and watching this artist crush her craft is inspiring. She’s not exactly a kid and this is incredibly hard.
