i graduated!! i did it mom, dad, grandpa.

i did it bella maye.🐾❤️

thank you to everyone who has helped me get through some of the toughest years of my life in school. i couldn’t have done it without any of you cheering me on, sticking by my side through it all, and never giving up on me.

i’d like to thank my parents for always giving me the advice i needed when i never wanted to go back to school due to some of the worst things, mental health, being picked on, etc. i am so thankful i have had you both to give me the best childhood i could’ve had. i love both of you so so much, to the moon and back.❤️

to my best friend, soriyah.. i never would’ve doubted that you would’ve stuck by my side till this day, and i know you will throughout college. i love you more than words could ever explain sori! God has blessed me with the most important, beautiful, and the most precious best friend. i love you sori.

austin, thank you for showing me how a woman should be treated in such a short amount of time. my family and i are so blessed to have you in our lives now. you don’t make me wonder, and the little things you do make me sparkle even more than i do. racing to my graduation right after you had yours the same night speaks volumes. we all love you, and your parents!

whether you are an outsider watching everything happen around you, maybe even getting pulled into the drama, negative spaces, and worst feelings, never give up or doubt yourself. never let someone tell you who you can or cannot be. YOU be you, do it for you and your future. everything will change eventually and you cannot let the little things take away your sparkle, i had to learn that the hard way. always be yourself, and never let ANYONE change who you are. YOU matter. YOU have a purpose. YOU are special.
always treat others, the way you wish to be treated.

one more week,

for those who don’t know, my momma had me two days before her senior year had started. i came pretty early and was quite the surprise to many, but the environment has always been so loving when it came to this new journey for her. she was doubted by many students, high school staff, and even some family, but that didn’t stop her from becoming the best mom that she is. unfortunately, my momma was unable to walk the stage her graduation night, due to one missing credit, so i wanted to do something special and share this moment of this next big step for not only my journey that i’m about to start, but the journey she has made, making so many sacrifices for me, and to let her have a moment of her own with me, the daughter she had in 2006, just before her senior year had started. i couldn’t have done this without her and i’m so thankful that she is by my side through it all, helping me and supporting me every step of the way. i hope that one day i can succeed just like my momma and get through everything that i experience. thank you april for letting us have a special moment, and thank you mom for being my number one. words cannot express how thankful i am to have you as a mother. i love you momma. ❤️ taken in Warsaw, Indiana by @macey.sainer
