When in Italy… DANCE!✨ I’m so glad that this talented violinist let me take the space around him to dance on the streets of La Spezia.🥰 It was well worth the pause in our tourist activities… and braving doing waltzes in sandals on concrete!😝

A few highlights:

💫 A self-retreat in Crestone to spend some quality time with the Lord
💫 Hiking Pikes Peak to celebrate America’s 250th birthday
💫 Teaching workshops at A Time To Dance for line dancing and for young dancers to uncover their God-given gifts
💫 Seeing the live orchestra version of the Pirates of the Caribbean
💫 Celebrating one of my dearest friends for her birthday with drinks and dancing

This has been a summer of change, but it’s still been a sweet, sweet summer, and I thank God for it.💖

A little December recap to go along with my end of year reflection.😁💕✨
As I get older, I learn more and more what it looks like to balance gratitude with unmet expectations. Here’s what that looked like in 2025 in a nutshell:
🪩 Though I don’t feel like I’m where I would like to be in my work/career, I’m grateful that I went out for new opportunities this year (including an audition I’ve wanted to do for a LONG time!) and get to work with the sweetest kiddos at the dance studio. I also get to do meaningful work at the counseling center — a job that I never thought I would be in but that has taught me so much!
🪩 Though I would love to fall in love and get married one day, I am so grateful for my incredible family that is so very present and caring. I also have some pretty spectacular friends who make my life colorful and entertaining!
🪩 Though I haven’t yet reached my financial goals, I am so thankful that I’m much closer to them now than I was a year ago without bending over backwards to get there.
🪩 Though I still don’t feel as confident in myself as I would like to, I’m grateful that I went out and tried the things that scared me, like the audition, applying for the new job, and trying out for a fashion show!
🪩 Though my daily rhythms with the Lord don’t look like what they used to, I am so, SO grateful that He hasn’t forgotten me and His love for me never changes. I am comforted to know that there is grace for the journey, and it’s never too late to start again.
May we never forget that we have power, agency, and choices to co-create a beautiful and meaningful life with the God who created us.❤️ It’s never too late to begin again. Thank you, 2025, and hello 2026!🎉🎊🥳👏
