Page One is the world’s first AI content accelerator, and building it has been one of the joys of my year. But the program is nothing compared to the people who came through it: a TV pioneer who reinvented her life’s project, an anthropologist turning her Berlin Wall years into a thriller, a dad building an anime empire with a toy commercial to prove it. Nine finished projects that no studio would ever have developed, from one community that keeps surprising me.

These last couple days if not weeks have been wild and there is a high potential it’s not going to stop! First a foremost let’s focus on today.

I want to thank Team 1 for all the energy and collaborative community. We took home both the Best Overall Movie and Most on Brief today at @machinecinema #GenJam today with United Lightspeed! And, I don’t have the words on how brillant the 🤖🎥 community is. Thank you all 🙏🏻

“Dracula in Sewage” won Best Overall Film at GenJam TIFF 🏆

I genuinely didn’t expect to win, which made this one even more special.

One of my favorite parts of working in AI filmmaking is meeting other creators who are experimenting, building, and pushing this medium forward. I’m grateful for communities like @machinecinema for creating spaces like GenJam throughout the year, and platforms like @nurastudioshq for giving filmmakers access to new tools and opportunities to experiment.

Definitely the highlight of my day.

After building in the studio with filmmakers, producers and animators, Nura Showcraft is now in public early access! and we’re celebrating the official launch where the film world already is: TIFF, in Toronto.

Showcraft is Nura Studios’ storytelling platform for directing films, series and video campaigns. It brings AI-assisted production into a real studio workflow: one place to develop your look, direct every shot with text, image and audio references, keep everything organized by scene and shot, and finish like a pro with ACES color and up-to-16K upscaling on your own GPU.
