It happened!! After experiencing 71 Dave Matthews Band shows over 27 years, the day I dreamt about since 98 finally happened and I met my idol. For as long as I can remember, meeting Dave Matthews was on my goal list right along with losing 10 lbs and reading more books.

When I learned about the Wells Fargo Autograph Card Exclusives solo show taking place in Houston on May 2nd, I immediately knew this was my chance. Finally, my work for Wells Fargo would pay off in more ways than a paycheck and career. I secured the tickets the second I could and then went to work, finding #thethirddoor

I located a news article on the interweb publicizing the concert and located the marketing director in charge of the event. Then, I crafted my heartfelt email letting her know what a HUGE fan I was and that if there was any possibility for a meet and greet for employees such as myself, I would be forever grateful. I sent the email and never heard back.

Fast forward three weeks, I sent a second more casual/quick follow-up email and got an immediate response that she sent the note to her team and would follow up. I was ecstatic. At least my hopes now had a bit more promise.

Again, radio silence until only 3 days left before the show, I emailed one last time. And boom! It happened, an email from her team offering me a meet and greet for my friend and me, plus VIP everything. My dream was finally going to come true.

After an amazing 71st show, first with him solo, with dreamlike set list and voice, I wasn't sure what I would say to him, but told him he sounded like an angel and that I wanted to collapse into him. He pulled me in tight for the best hug of my life. It was hard to let go, but the memory, and the photo will last a lifetime.

@davematthewsband.com N1 @fiddlersgreenco in Denver, Co, coincided as my 75th gift to myself to see this amazing band. It's always funny when a non-dmb'er asks whether it ever gets old, and when you can attend 75 shows and get 3 first-time-hearing-them live songs, it doesn't get any better! From Long Black Veil, to Drunken Soldier, to It Could Happen and all the songs in between, was just so happy there would be a N2. I am ever so grateful for them and that I can travel with friends, meet new friends, and be in the most happiest place in the world wherever we may be.

Just Wow! I am still in awe and grateful to have experienced my first time at the miraculous Redrocks venue to enjoy my 2nd favorite band Goose with my dear friend Marilyn this past weekend. It was my distinct honor to officiate the wedding of one of my dearest long-time friends, Maggie Jo and her loving husband AJ the other weekend in their hometown of Louisville, KY. Being a part of their love story and union is something I will cherish for eternity!

I met you on a Tuesday, and brought you to your forever home the very next day. 11 years, 1 month and 7 days later we had to say goodbye. Coco loved being your sister, and I loved being your mother. You were the sweetest bestfriend with the saddest eyes and the most precious howl and speak. You loved eating everything from tree bark to dog poop, and because of your cute stubbornness, Martha Ann was the name you heard most often. While the pain of you not being by my side weighs heavy on my heart, I am comforted that you are no longer in pain. I hope you and Coco are enjoying your time together again up in heaven - Coco humping you, while you lick the last of whatever good treat is left on the ground. Ryan and I miss you immensely, but are so happy we were able to share good memories and years with you. Till we see you again, Miss Martha Ann, we love you! 💔

I am beyond grateful to have traveled to my first DMB show at The Woodlands to help them kick-off their 2026 Sunmer Tour, and experience my 74th Dave show. Highlights include a So Right opener, ABI > American Baby, Cha Cha and Broken Things. And finally got to meet the one and only @robertraab. My cup is over flowing with gratitude. 🙏 ❤️ 🙌
