Old man said while we resting , we gonna frame this wrap around soffit .
He busted out his credit card , bought the rest of the supplies , shingles , tar paper , drip edge .
He also got this fancy trim , going up top , 3rd floor facia and soffit , it’s gonna look pretty good .
Old man built these truss for one side after it took us two day to frame south side , - Old man pretty clever 🤔

Progress Report with my Old Man

He loves setting up the ladder vertical 🪜 head on up Son il be down here .

He got the down cellar door back on hinges - that should keep out cold air ya know?
I came in this morning, Old boy had all the scraps stacked up in living room . Says he gonna burn it all in wood stove to keep heat bill down , I was irritated at first but he is a senior citizen on fixed income .
“Ok ,dad where we gonna stack it up?”
I just want the Old boy to be warm all winter.
