I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life, it got to a point where it ended up taking over my life. I felt as there was no purpose out there. I ended up praying to a God I didn’t know. I just wanted healing in my life. I wanted to feel free again. God gave me a purpose, he is my purpose. I’m made new. From all my past to now. Words will never be enough to describe how grateful I am for this. Being baptized is more than a moment, it’s a promise, a new beginning and a reminder that we are never alone in Gods love.

Cypress, thank you. For everything. I walked into cypress knowing the name of Jesus but not knowing Jesus. I stepped into the church not knowing if I would come back the next Sunday . But I did. Cypress, You have made me a better follower in Christ. I wouldn’t be here today without the church that saved me. Cypress didn’t just build a church, they built a family. A family we can rely on when things are hard. Somehow the church I never thought I would step into, is this church I got baptized in, served, and stepped into community. by @macie_redden

TYJ! There aren’t enough words to put in a caption for a week long of memories. I’ve recently struggled with finding time with God in all the noise. Worshiping my God this week and working in his nature changed something in my soul. God is good all the time, when you hit rock bottom he is the word. Anxiety is a big part of my life, sometimes it takes over my life completely, when I was singing to him multiple times this week, I felt a relief, and weight lifted off my chest, I felt as if I was free from anxiety. I’m going to give all glory to God, there is no one like him. When you hit the peak of your mountain become more like Jesus.
You may be in a season right now where you feel stuck, you’re confused. But when you hit that part in your mountain, become more like Jesus. My life coming to Jesus was not what it is today, but I still experience the hardships. Life will never be easy walking with Christ, but I rather live my life with Christ then without him. Thank God for everything that is hard or confusing.
