Everyone starts somewhere and every season has a purpose.

I had to work a 9–5 office job, staring at a picture of the beach on my wall, before I could work from wherever I wanted.

I had to teach others before I could build my own business.

I had to put in the work starting as a Novice before becoming an All Star... and the work isn’t finished. The goal is still bigger.

I had to teach my very first hip hop class in my home studio before I could teach on staff at events around the world.

I had to walk through ReGenergation, confront my sin, and grow in my intimacy and dependence on God before I could start and lead a ministry.

I had to leave Charlie at home every day while I went to work, rush home for a 15-minute lunch break just to take him out, and leave him with my parents whenever I traveled before I could build a life where he gets to travel with me.

And as embarrassing as it felt at the time, I also had a season where I relied on government assistance just to get by. I had to figure it out. I trusted that God would provide and he did. Little by little, He opened doors, gave me opportunities, and helped me build something from nothing.

I never knew what life could be until I trusted God enough to walk through the doors He opened.
I’ve been through incredible highs, heartbreaking lows, and seasons where I wondered if any of it was going to work out. Looking back now, I’m so thankful I didn’t let fear keep me comfortable. It’s proof of what God can do with someone who’s willing to keep showing up, trust Him one step at a time, and refuse to quit.

And it’s just the beginning. 🤍 by @macieshaes

@bradwendt21 is so fun to dance with because he entertains the audience, is so funny, and goes with the bit. It was perfect for this song and I had a blast! 😂

One of the coolest parts about WCS is getting to draw someone you’ve never met before.

Jordan was such an awesome partner and I’m glad we got to share the floor!

Never having to wear mascara again >>> 🤌🏼✨

I love having my lashes done because I feel put together even with no makeup, they make my makeup look even better when I do get ready, AND it’s one less step in my routine 🙌🏼

Plus everyone at @thelashloungetampaodessa is always so sweet and takes such good care of me 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about getting lashes, this is your sign! Use MACIE10 for 10% off your appointment. I gotchu queens 💅🏼🫶🏼 by @macieshaes
