felt like these few pics needed their own post. these sweet kids were hand-in-hand walking alongside me from house-to-house in one of our first villages. when they saw me, they immediately grabbed my Bible and started looking through it. on the bottom of my Bible, i have the words “this is how i fight my battles” written. as a people who have absolutely nothing, the Lord and His word truly is how they fight their battles each day. these pictures hold so much power and truth and are so special to me. this group of kids touched my heart in a way it’s never been touched before and have changed me forever. He is how we fight our battles, whether in America, with everything we could ever need, or in Kenya, with nothing. taken in Kenya, Africa by @macitmahan
