Armorpilled and TQ maxxing at @milsimwest’s The Volga Bridge this Halloween.

I typically don’t run plates in field AOs, but the @3f_supply RRV and MAP pack make it easy to add/drop armor as needed throughout the event so I can tailor my kit to the phase of the operation I’m in.

Cadre who ran the @arcturus.tactical ARM Block 1 M4A1 last event had nothing hit good things to say about its reliability and performance—looking forward to using mine.

What unique kit are you hoping to run with you squad of 8 this season? by @mack_msw

If you forget to take cool pictures professionally LARPing, it’s okay because @admin_airsoft_2 will take photos of you yelling at customers to stop shooting in the air and pretending you know how to read a watch.

Another great weekend working the best job with the best people and (some of) the best customers. by @mack_msw

No matter what chest rig setups I try, I always end up coming back to this.
•
I’ve spent as much time wearing a chest rig as I have a plate carrier in the Army, if not more. And if there’s a right way to set a chest rig up, it’s probably something like this. The cadre at @milsimwest include recon, Rangers, scouts, STA… just about all of them run their rig up something like this:
•
Fighting load up front with some minimal admin space for pre-staged signal items or smart cards, radio on the non-firing side, double mag pouch opposite, canteen pouch on the right, GP pouch on the left. This enables me to carry 5+ mags, commo, signal, a 1L bottle, and still have space left over for an IFAK/NODs/etc. The double magazine pouch can easily flex for to carry a smoke or for a second radio. For anyone in a leadership position, I think that pretty much covers your bases.
•
Whether I’m setting up for @milsimwest or a real-world requirement, retro or modern—this is almost always my build. Last pro tip: an AVS admin zipper fits the admin pouch on your RRV perfectly.

NATO’s honor remains.

Hard fought event, and a great start to this season’s force-on-force format.

Shoutout to our partners for making some of our equipment possible:

BLUF: the CHLK Belt by @blueforcegear is my favorite battle belt, hands down. I’ve never been a fan of the typical types of battle belts (one-piece/padded, Ronin-style/nylon, slotted/Tegris), but the CHLK Belt has each platform’s upsides and avoids the downsides.

1. By using a shape that contours the body, heavy items are NOT biting straight to your hips regardless of where a pouch is mounted. Contact with the hips and lower back means that weight is spread-loaded equally, without the slippage and surface area of a one-piece padded belt.

2. The MOLLE Minus system ensures that pouches are woven over and into the belt, not just hanging off like on your Ronin-style nylon belts. Gear slop and pouch movement that loosens up is eliminated.

3. Load-Rating may not be an MSW factor, but it’s something that matters to many professionals. Despite using a slotted, non-nylon system, a 1-inch nylon webbing is still woven the length of the belt, including retention lanyard anchor points, resulting in a 3500-lb load rating.

If the battle belts on the market aren’t satisfying you, this is the platform to reach for. It’ll certainly be my go-to from now on. by @mack_msw

Got a solid Pre-season workout in tonight at a local park with a PC:

-1 mile run to the park: 8:10 mile pace
-.20 sprints around the track x 3 sets
-25 Air squats x 3 sets
-15 Burpees x 3 sets
-50 mountain climbers x 3 sets
-1 mile run back: 7:45 pace

Run it as fast as you can. Good smoke session.

As usual, the @blueforcegear GP pouch coming in clutch for modern day smart phones that are larger than big screen TVs… jk
