A HUGE congratulations to our Mackay Basketball juniors Isabel Smith, Cheyenne Bobongie and Lily Mapp on winning the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup 🥇☄️

Australia claimed the gold medal in an absolute THRILLER against Japan, winning 83–82 in a nail-biter that came down to the very last shot 🔥

What an incredible achievement girls 🙌 We are so proud to see these young ladies representing Australia and showcasing their talent, hard work, and dedication at the highest level 💯

No matter how far you go, you’ll always make Mackay proud 🖤❤️

NBL1 youngsters Cheyenne Bobongie, Isabel Smith, Olivia Olechnowicz, Madi Ryan, and Jemyma Manyok started the Under-18s Asia Cup Final and left it all out there as they delivered the Gems’ third straight title 🏆 by @mackaybasketball

A Gem of a recruit from TCU 💎

@basketballauscoe talent Isabel Smith is the latest young star to earn the spotlight on the Triple Threat Tournaments Rising Stars segment on Cut to the Jase.

The Mackay product has made her mark on the world stage with Australian junior teams and currently at the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup, as well as in the NBL1 East. Next year she is set to become the latest in a bunch of Aussies to play at @tcuwbb

Jason Cadee and Brayden Heslehurst spoke about the youngster’s potential on last week’s episode.
