This team is special. I am so grateful to have been a part of Team Michigan these last 5 years. The lessons, memories, and friendships I have made through this team will be cherished forever. I can't think of a single other team that has a love for the sport, and eachother like we do. This team became a family, and I am so proud to have been able to step out there with my girls year after year and write history. ❤️💙

As I sit here writing this I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude, pride, and comfort.

High school wrestling season had always been something I dreaded, I didn't look forward to it, until this year. Every day was something new, every day we pushed a little harder in practice, every day I smiled during the hardest hours of my day.

This season was the hardest for me, I found myself having to search for my why, for a purpose. I found it, it was in Ben, the man I look up to the most. He has always had the answers for me, and when I was questioning everything, I knew he was the answer. Do it for the people that can't. Do it for the people that couldn't. Do it for the people that won't. That was my why, and in that I found myself being grateful for every opportunity I have had, every practice, every match, every time I put on my shoes, because I got to when others couldn't.

I have never been more proud of a group of people, from my teammates I have spent everyday with, to the girls I have traveled the country with. Every single person stepped onto the mat and gave it their all. I am so proud of them, but I am also proud of myself. Proud of myself for overcoming, for pushing further, and proud of myself for coming out on top. When the sport couldn't break me, other people tried to, I kept pushing, and now look where we are.

I also find comfort knowing that in my last match I gave it my all, I had put in the work, it was time for it all to come together. I never had a doubt, only belief. I was at peace, and I am so glad I was able to be going into this season with a clear and quiet mind.

I hope that the little girls watching have learned from me, just as I have them. They are just as much my inspiration as I may be to them.

I am so proud to have been a Wildcat. 🐾💜

I am so excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Davenport University!

I am so grateful for my family, for supporting me and my dreams. Without you guys none of this would be possible.

A special thank you to my Mom, for always being by my side, good, bad, and really ugly. You have made all of this possible for me.

Thank you to Ben, for making me into the person I am today, for showing me the great things I am capable of. Thank you for being a great role model, and best friend.

Thank you Coach Chase, for never giving up on me when I wanted to give up on myself. Without you I don't think I'd had made it through those seasons.

Thank you to Coach Dom, for seeing potential in me, and for giving me this opportunity. I can't wait for what's in store.

Thank you to Ethan and his family, being my second family, and always being there for me.

Thank you to my GWBH family, I am so proud to represent you, and what it's like to be a good wrestler, and an even better human.

I am so excited for what's to come! Go Panthers! 🐾
