God has blessed me with so much, and Lakeview softball is one of those blessings.

I’m genuinely at loss for words. This team, program, and community has made an ever lasting impact on the person I am today and who I will continue to become. The amount of people who have showed up and supported me throughout my softball career leaves me speechless and overwhelmed with gratitude. I thank God every chance I get for allowing me to have the opportunity to play the sport I have so much passion for with the people I love most.

I walked into a program 4 years ago not knowing what to expect, but ever since my freshmen year we kept the same goal of looking to build something special and set a new standard for Lakeview softball. And man did we exceed that.

Along the way there were trials, road blocks, and doubt that surrounded us. However, through the lows when I looked to my right and left there was always a teammate, a friend, and a sister right there with me. Not every girl gets to play the sport they love, share their passion for the game, and have fun while doing so. The bonds and friendships I have created along the way will last me a lifetime and I am one of the luckiest girls.

Thank you for the past four years, the memories, lessons, and most importantly relationships i’ve built over my time as a bulldog. My time wearing a lakeview jersey may be up, but I will continue to hold myself to the same standard. #20 out. 🤍💙 by @mackenzie.stowe

Dear Lakeview baksetball,

Where do I even begin. I want to thank my coaches, teammates, fans, and family for always supporting me in every aspect of my life but in this particular moment for supporting me in my basketball career. After every game I genuinely believe I leave everything out on the court and having teammates, coaches, and fans that are right there to have my back means the absolute world to me.

Never could I imagine the goodbye being this hard but basketball has taught me more than just how to play. I have been pushed past my limits, i have lost over and over again, I have won over and over again, but the most important thing is I have continued to learn and grow every game, every practice, and every second.

The endless trials, memories, and relationships built will never be forgotten. And I am extremely blessed for these past 4 years of playing lakeview basketball. I’ll never forget the joy filled feeling of going out on the court, but I my last moments on the court are engraved in my memory forever.
