I love my boy with all of my heart. I have been victim to the comparison of others from what I see through social media. But we have to remember most people only post the highlights and that is only a sliver of their life.
Know that these feelings are more normal than ever spoke on. Some days are easier than others. Sometimes you just need to put your phone away and put away unrealistic expectations you have of yourself. Always strive to be better than the day before but never beat yourself up for the harder days. I promise motherhood becomes a whole lot easier when we stop only looking at peoples highlights.
Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with someone posting those!! In fact sometimes it gives motivation or new ideas. But the minuet it starts becoming a time where you’re thinking down on yourself, then put your phone down. 💋
