I make music as Fauxroot. My debut album IS OUT EVERYWHERE RIGHT NOW!!!!🏓🎸🎧✍️

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My debut album as Fauxroot has FINALLY released!!! Omg! You can listen to it wherever you listen to music, now! I’ve worked on it for 2 years and I’m so proud of what it has become.

I could write so much about what type of music it is, what it means and all that, but i think it’s best if you just give it a listen. As brief as possible, I’ll say that it’s noisy, beautiful and atmospheric shoegaze about finding positivity when things seem all but it. The first half is more negative and heavy, and the second half is more positive and ethereal. I hope any part of this album makes you feel something.

And of course, thanks so much to @ddemura.ua and @_lucythealien_ for providing your skills on tracks 2 and 5 respectively! by @mackenziehill__

My new song ‘floatinggg’ is out now!! It’s a mix of electronic music and rock and it’s pretty awesome. I made it in 5 hours for All Nighter Vol 10, and I’m super happy with what I created in that time. Listen to it with the link in my bio! by @mackenziehill__

It’s officially been a month since ‘Dream’ released, and I’m so happy with the reception it’s gotten!!

An official review on Beatsperminute.com @cableline, 440 monthly listeners, a placement on black market records’ instrumental shoegaze playlist @blackmarketplaylist, a score of 88 on albumoftheyear, amazing reviews from the lovely people on that site, and it was just pipped from the top 10 of singles this year on AOTY by ‘Break The Boom Meter’ lmao!

Thanks so much for the support, crazy reviews and streams! Already working on new things, and maybe an EP will be yours by the end of the year…

Keep an eye and ear out for more! :D by @mackenziehill__

To celebrate my favourite Eurovision song of all time, I thought I’d make a cover of Tavo Akys by @katarsisgyvas! I’m really happy with it so have a listen in the link in my bio if you are a fan of Eurovision, Lithuania, rock music or goofy pixel art. Enjoy! by @mackenziehill__
