After a long valiant fight against ALS, on Sunday evening, Sandra Scully, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, left this world and went to heaven. She was caring, kind, thoughtful, funny, smart, and a loyal servant to her community. Everyone that knew her was touched by her beautiful soul and I have no doubt that her light will shine on forever. Although she is already missed terribly, God simply couldn’t wait for her to come home.

Our family is so appreciative of all the beautiful messages and prayers we have been receiving during this difficult time. That said, many of you have reached out about how you can show your support. In honor of my grandmother’s memory and wishes, my family and I would be so incredibly grateful if donations were made in her name to the Department of Neuromuscular Disease at UCLA/ALS Research. Since she was a passionate advocate for medical research, it would mean the world to her to help find a cure so that no one else ever has to face the challenges she battled against so magnificently.

My family and I would also like to give our most heartfelt thanks to the UCLA medical team and the Los Angeles Fire Department for their heroic efforts. Below you will find a link to make donations. God Bless you all and thank you again for your love and support, it means more than you know. 💙
