I finally made it to Tew Galleries in Atlanta. I got to meet Corky Davis was sold almost all of the pieces that I've sent him and I've been shown in the Gallery.

The Gallery is beautiful, stunning really, all the artists are fabulous and it was a great day and evening thanks Corky for entertaining us and being so generous with your time and energy.

Before I went into the studio on Saturday, I had an opening at a place called @byfabrieks and @khiembermichaels is the power house of a women behind this very unique idea to bring all the senses together. She's been working on this idea for a long time and finally was able to bring all of this together in a great location downtown Denver on the 16th St. mall. The address is at Market Street station 1467 16th St. she is such a huge supporter of so many different people in Denver so thank you to both Khiember and her husband Austin they are both incredible people. Here @jeffwenzelart I are working just this last Saturday at the studio. The piece that I'm working on is kind of interesting because I did a 3-D roller made from a design on paper that then we scanned it and turned it into these interesting rollers that then I put an impression in the clay and they've turned out very cool so I have to thank @audrey.an for talking me into that and I've been using it quite a lot and it works really good. I still need to post some pictures from my time at Anderson Ranch this summer which I will do soon. A couple of weeks ago I started a three-year program at Anderson Ranch called advance mentorship studies for ceramics. My friend Heather Mourer suggested I apply for it because she was doing it. I did and I got in, but just like my style I didn't read all of the fine print and I wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into. So when I got up to Snowmass, where Anderson Ranch is, I found out that it's a very intense three year program. The two teachers are Shoji Satke #shojisatake www.shojisatake.com , and Audrey An #audrey.an and here are there Instagram handles. They are both fantastic teachers, and I learned quite a lot from them. All of the students were bombarded with quite a lot of information and me as one of the oldest students there I was overwhelmed with all the information.

Usually, I produce a lot of work, but I produce the least amount of work. This reel that you are looking at is one of three pieces that were produced in two weeks. I was really surprised that I was able to get three pieces completely through the bisque fire and through a Glaze fire. This first piece is a cone 10 reduction fire, which I haven't gotten to do for several years because I certainly don't have a gas kiln to do reduction firing. Anyway, in the next couple weeks, I will be posting more work that I produced at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass. It was an incredible experience and I am looking forward to going back. Also the 13 other people that I got to meet were amazing and I will be posting their work that they did as well. My dear friend, Martha Daniels passed away two days ago. I really got to reconnect with her in 2020 when I did a one person show for her at Urban Mud in Denver. It was a real honor to drive out to Palm Springs and get to hang out with her. See her work and take it back to Denver and show it in my Gallery. We sold a tremendous amount of her work at that show. This work that I'm showing on this real is from that show. She was an amazing artist, her whole life and she will be missed very much not only in the Denver area, but all across the country. #marthadaniels if you look up Martha Daniels, you will see that there was a really nice review of her show at my Gallery by a publication called DARIA by @mackeys.life
