🌎 OFFICIAL: CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPION MACKONNER DY JOINS THE ZOCKER GLOBAL TEAM @mackonner_pb
---------------
Today marks an exciting milestone as Zocker officially welcomes Mackonner Dy to the Zocker Global Team.

At just 16 years old, Mackonner has already established himself as one of the most promising young talents in international pickleball:

🔥 Professional Player in the Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL)

Beyond his impressive achievements, Mackonner represents the values that define the future of pickleball—excellence, dedication, sportsmanship, resilience, and a genuine passion for growing the game.

What inspires us most is his belief that pickleball is more than competition. It is a sport that connects people across generations, communities, and cultures through a shared love of the game.

As Zocker continues to expand our global pickleball family, we are proud to partner with one of the brightest young athletes in the sport and support his journey toward even greater accomplishments on the international stage.

What does it actually look like being 16 and competing around the world? 🌎🏓

Vietnam was more than just a tournament. New country. New conditions. New partners. New challenges.

And a lot of figuring things out along the way.

So I’m starting something new:

TEEN ON TOUR. 🎒🏓

From partnering with @voanh.huy for the first time to battling back from 1–9 with @lnctl.jolie , Vietnam definitely gave me some stories.

Big thanks to @djoypickleballtour @officialapptour and
@hoangnam.ly252 for the experience and to @zocker.ca for being part of the journey.

Come along for the wins, losses, airports, crazy schedules, new places, and everything in between.

🇻🇳 Vietnam — that’s a wrap.

Next stop… Kentucky. 🇺🇸

The @pickleballcharitychallenge was about playing with purpose.

Grateful to be part of the Pickleball Charity Challenge spearheaded by @bclionsalumni supporting Rick’s Heart Foundation. Even more grateful to share the court with some Vancouver sports legends.

Good people. Great laughs. Great cause.

First season of CNPL = a lot of firsts. 🦉

First time competing in a team league, first bronze match, and somehow… Canadian Rookie of the Year. 😂🏆

But honestly, one of my biggest takeaways was learning that team competition is way more than just your own game.

Cheer for each other. Pick each other up. Learn from each other. And celebrate the wins together.

Super grateful for my teammates, my @zocker.ca family, the Vancouver Owls, and everyone behind CNPL who made this season so much fun.

Season 4, you were a good one. 🦉❤️

🔥 THE PROS ARE COMING…

Our next pro reveal is just 16 years old — but he’s already making a serious name for himself in Canadian pickleball. 🇨🇦🔥

Meet Mackonner Dy, who’ll be heading to Antalya to compete at the 2026 European Pickleball Open this November!

Mackonner first picked up a paddle in 2020, when his family started playing pickleball together during the pandemic. What began as a family activity quickly became a passion — and six years later, he’s now touring as a professional player.

As of September 2026, his DUPR rankings put him at:

🏓 #1 U18 Junior in Canada
🏓 #2 Men’s Open Singles in Canada
🏓 #10 Men’s Open Doubles in Canada

And the results are already stacking up too, including 2026 Rookie of the Year, a Canadian National Pickleball League Double Crown, success at the 2026 BC Provincials, and a 2025 Canadian National Singles Championship. 🏆

But despite an impressive list of achievements at such a young age, Mackonner’s approach remains simple: keep competing, keep improving and, importantly, keep enjoying the game.

From a family pastime to competing internationally at just 16 — we’re excited to see where pickleball takes Mackonner next.

And this November, that journey brings him to Antalya. 🇹🇷
