Rejoice!One week until we open our doors. Please find all information in the poster, both for the full run of the Berlin exhibition and the launch night on Saturday 18th of July.The performance ‘Speak Broken Chords,’ will be performed at three separate occasions on the launch night to accommodate schedules of attendees. The performance will not be repeated in Berlin after this date.Entry to the exhibition is free both on the launch night and for the duration of the exhibition. You Will Rejoice!Finally we are live. Three years of hard work, trial and error, blood sweat and tears brings us to the moment we are at right now, presenting this body of work to you.Ikenna and I have been working on this thing in the shadows for a long long time. Old heads may remember in 2023 when we did our last joint venture, ‘I Know The Sun Must Set,’ at @126gallery.studios in Galway. Our first exhibition, and the first time I felt like I was becoming a ‘real artist.’ Almost immediately afterwards we began work on this project.OLD heads may even remember our first collab, Solidarity Amongst All; an art book featuring created in response to the political climate at the time.This time we do both.‘You Will Rejoice’ is a book; it is also an exhibition. The book is two hundred pages of photography, poetry and prose, discussing and exploring themes of identity, fragmentation, and isolation. The exhibition will consist of seven images from the book, and on the launch night there will be a performance from Ikenna, accompanied by musical score produced by Ikenna and visuals created by me.Our global launch will be in Berlin @studioacephale on the 18th of July, and one month later we will also be in London at Stück from the 14th of August (details to follow). These are not our only destinations, but this is all we can reveal for now.All exhibitions will be free entry for the entire duration. If you want to support us, please consider purchasing a copy of the book. All prints at each exhibition will be for sale, there will be one copy per location, and they will never be reprinted. Link in bio, or reach out directly and I can send you the link :)This book is the best work I have ever done, I have given this project everything I have and I have absolutely nothing left. The majority of my work in this project is unpublished, one hundred percent of Ikenna’s work is unpublished.
