Engaged!

On April 2nd in beautiful and magical Tulum Mexico I proposed to my partner… my person.

I had a ring made that included the stone from my mother’s wedding band (1965).

On a downpour rainy day, we went to the exquisite Azulik Uh May (azulik.com). Upon entering the property of this stunning ecological architectural museum (deep in the jungle) I knew this was the perfect set & setting.

We found ourselves atop the space in a quiet beautiful spot and I asked my beautiful woman to close her eyes. I put my backpack down, got out the m little box that I’d been carrying around for a week (never leaving my side). I got down on one knee, presented the ring and asked this beauty to open her eyes.

This was a first for me and I had lots of feels. Mostly gratitude and appreciation for 2.5yrs of deep loving connection together.

Her face lit up and with a huge smile and she said “absolutely” and I placed the ring on her finger. This was a powerful and unforgettable moment I’ll never forget 💜💍🐺🦊 taken in Azulik Uh May by @macmannow
