What a fantastic day yesterday @macreddingolf Club, with two major events taking place on the final major weekend of the season.

Tombstone Challenge – sponsored by @pbe.golf

Congratulations to John O’Toole, winner of the Tombstone Challenge!

A particularly special moment as John was presented with his first prize — a fantastic Par Birdie Eagle Golf bag — by his 6-year-old son Cian. ❤️

And congratulations also to Colm O’Meara & Noel Sinnott, winners of the Club 4-Ball Final.

A brilliant way to round off the club’s major season. Huge congratulations to all our winners and thanks to everyone who took part and helped make yesterday such a great day at Macreddin!

SCRATCH CUP SUNDAY AT MACREDDIN

What a day @macreddingolf

Yesterday saw 160 competitors take to the course for our Scratch Cup, with glorious sunshine, fantastic golf and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

The timesheet was completely full, with huge demand for places. For those who couldn’t get a tee time this year, we’ll be looking at creating more time next year to make Scratch Cup Sunday even bigger and better!

A massive well done to everyone who played, and a huge thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday such a memorable day.

We’ll see you all again next year

Our Academy kids rounded off a fantastic season with an End of Season Skills Challenge, followed by our Awards Ceremony and Pizza Party at Macreddin Golf Club.

An amazing day filled with fun, friendly competition, big smiles and plenty of proud moments.

A huge well done to every one of our young golfers for their hard work, enthusiasm and progress throughout the season. It’s been brilliant watching them develop their skills, confidence and love for the game. by @macreddingolf

BLACK TEES GRAND FINAL — WHAT A DAY!

What a fantastic way to wrap up the Black Tees competition yesterday @macreddingolf

A huge congratulations to Macreddin Golf member Martyn Veitch, who took home the Black Tees Grand Final trophy and first prize with a fantastic score of 39 points

A massive thank you to all 109 finalists who made it through the three qualifiers and helped make this competition such a success. It’s been brilliant to see the support, competition and camaraderie throughout.

A special thank you to Stephen Hannon and the Greenkeeping Team for having the course in such fantastic shape for the final — the course has never looked better

We also want to recognise Siobhàn, Sam, Tara, Patrick and Ciara for all their hard work and commitment throughout the season. Your efforts behind the scenes were a huge part of making the competition run so smoothly

And finally, a massive thank you to John and Jacob from Grannies Kitchen Catering for keeping everyone fuelled after their rounds with their incredible curries! 🍛👏

Congratulations again to Martyn, and well done to everyone who took part.

What a hole 📍 Hole 12 ~ McGinley’s Favourite @macreddingolf

It’s no wonder @paulmcginley14 picked this as his favourite it’s a super hole designed by @mcginleygolfdesign and it has a great little story.

When Paul McGinley was first surveying the land by helicopter, this was the first hole he visualised when imagining the course.

A beautiful elevated tee shot, Ballybrean Brook running through the hole and a challenging approach shot why it earned its name 👌🏽⛳️

I must say I really enjoyed playing it and was super fun to play with the challenge over the water. Hit save on this video to remind you to book a round to play it!
