The leading organization fighting antisemitism on campus today.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Antisemitism is reaching children as young as elementary school.

Fox News digital contributor Ariella Noveck told Australia’s News 24 that Jewish students across the US are facing a climate of Jew-hatred so severe that some are afraid to tell teachers they need to miss school for Jewish holidays.

Ariella detailed another anecdote about a student who had told her they were made to sit in class during which the teacher had claimed that the Holocaust was made up.

Schools must confront antisemitic ideology at every level and ensure Jewish students can learn, practice, feel safe being openly Jewish, and not be made to defend the very real history of genocide against their ancestors to a teacher. by @mactaskforce

From his hospital bed in Abu Dhabi, Captain Smit Machchhar has recounted the attack by his co-pilot that sent a FlyDubai flight plunging toward the ground.

Despite serious injuries, Captain Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door, allowing passengers and crew to intervene. Israeli passengers helped subdue the attacker, and an off-duty pilot took control of the aircraft. All 172 passengers and 8 crewmembers aboard survived.

His courage, alongside the decisive actions of those who came to his aid, helped prevent a catastrophe. We wish Captain Machchhar a full recovery and honor everyone who stood up to save innocent lives. 🇮🇱🇮🇳 by @mactaskforce

The University of Pittsburgh created a working group to examine campus antisemitism.

But before issuing its final report, the group reportedly did not interview, survey, or hold focus groups with the university’s broader Jewish student community about their experiences.

Pitt is home to an estimated 1,400 Jewish undergraduates. How can a university meaningfully assess antisemitism on its campus without directly asking Jewish students what they are experiencing?

The university says it is in ongoing conversations with Jewish students, and the report itself recommends regularly surveying antisemitism on campus. That engagement should be central to the work, not something that comes afterward.

Jewish students deserve to be heard. Their experiences should inform how universities understand antisemitism, how they respond to it, and how they work to make Jewish students feel safe and welcome on campus.

“I’m pro-Israel because I’m pro-Palestine.”

MTF National Spokesperson Taryn Thomas explains why Palestinian freedom and Israel’s existence are not mutually exclusive.

A political movement that treats Israel’s existence and Palestinian freedom as mutually exclusive traps Palestinians in permanent conflict. Palestinian liberation cannot require Jewish elimination.

Real freedom means the ability to live, vote, speak openly, and build a future without terror or oppression. Palestinians deserve that future and it does not, nor will it ever, require Israel’s destruction. by @mactaskforce

Nearly 70 Jewish American educators canceled a planned study trip to Italy after they were told they would be expected to distance themselves from Israel’s actions in Gaza.

A leaked recording broadcast by Italy’s Tg3 captures Maddalena Tedeschi, president of the host organization Reggio Children, discussing declarations distancing participants from the “occupation” and “genocide.” Reggio Children has since said the additional declaration was discussed but never became a formal requirement.

Before the trip, activists also scrutinized participants’ personal and institutional social media profiles for perceived ties to Israel and the IDF. Organizers ultimately cited both the political pressure surrounding the group and concerns about participants’ safety in canceling the visit.

Jewish educators should not have to pass a political test to participate in professional learning. Scrutinizing Jewish participants for their real or perceived connections to Israel, and expecting them to answer for the policies of the Israeli government, has no place in education.

Education should build bridges, not put Jewish people in the position of defending their identity or associations simply to enter the room. by @mactaskforce

“I am done with the game of supporting Palestine. It is a lie.”

Those words are notable because of who is saying them. Wiam Wahhab is a Lebanese Druze politician with a long history of alignment with Hezbollah and Bashar al-Assad’s Syria. He has been under U.S. sanctions since 2007 for actions the Treasury Department said helped undermine Lebanese sovereignty and democracy.

Now, Wahhab is publicly rejecting decades of conflict with Israel and arguing that Lebanon should pursue peace.
His broader political record should not be overlooked or endorsed. But the fact that a figure with his history is openly questioning the path Lebanon and the wider region have followed for decades is significant.

The people of the Middle East deserve a future in which disagreements are settled through diplomacy rather than perpetual war — and in which Israelis, Lebanese, Palestinians, and all the region’s peoples have the opportunity to live, build, and thrive in peace. by @mactaskforce

A former Harvard employee is suing the university, alleging he was fired in retaliation for taking approved time off to observe Rosh Hashanah.

Daniel Lilienthal claims his supervisor approved his religious leave, but later criticized him for “taking time off” and told him, “I don’t want you thinking you can just take off time whenever you want.” Nine days later, he was fired.

His lawsuit alleges religious discrimination and retaliation. Harvard has not yet responded to the allegations in court.

No Jewish employee should have to choose between observing their faith and keeping their job. These allegations must be taken seriously, and Jewish employees — like employees of every faith — must be able to observe their religious holidays without being penalized for doing so. by @mactaskforce

At a State Department ceremony yesterday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio joined the families of Americans murdered in Hamas’s October 7 attack to honor their loved ones and remember the atrocities committed that day.

Nearly 50 Americans were murdered on October 7, and Americans were among those taken hostage into Gaza. At the ceremony, bereaved families spoke about the people they lost and called for justice and accountability.

Their stories deserve to be remembered. Their loved ones deserve justice. And the truth about October 7 must never be forgotten. by @mactaskforce

Four Jewish day schools in Brooklyn, South Florida, and Los Angeles have been targeted by bomb threat hoaxes in the past week.

The threats were determined to be fraudulent, but the fear and disruption they caused were real. Students were evacuated or forced into lockdown, disrupting classrooms and frightening children and families.

No child should have to fear for their safety simply for attending a Jewish school.

These threats must be taken seriously, and those responsible should be identified and held accountable. Jewish students and families deserve to be able to go to school without being subjected to threats and intimidation. by @mactaskforce

Lebanese actor Mario Bassil is making the case for peace with Israel: peace is better than the destruction of your country and the loss of your people.

His vision is that of a thriving Middle East, with resorts and hotels fully booked from Turkey to Egypt, instead of endless conflict. The terrorist entities that aim to divide us lose a major piece of their power if regular people refuse to believe in their ideology of war.

Peace means more than the absence of war. It means the possibility of prosperity, tourism, and a future where people across the region can thrive together across borders. by @mactaskforce

A historic moment in Jerusalem: Colombia’s new embassy has been inaugurated in Israel’s capital.

Jerusalem holds profound meaning for the Jewish people, a city at the heart of our history, faith, and enduring hope of returning to our ancestral homeland.

Thank you to Colombia and President Abelardo de la Espriella for standing with Israel and recognizing Jerusalem’s place in the story of the Jewish people. 🇨🇴🇮🇱
