Headland House is entering its final stages, with handover now just around the corner.

Every now and then a project comes along that pushes every boundary—of design, engineering and craftsmanship. Headland House has been exactly that. A truly one-of-one home, brought to life through an extraordinary vision and an unwavering commitment to detail.

Working alongside the incredibly talented team @kin_architects has been a privilege. Their design has challenged us at every turn and the result is something unlike anything we’ve had the opportunity to build before.

A huge thank you to our team for the effort and countless hours and every single trade who has poured their skill, care and countless hours into this project. The level of craftsmanship throughout is second to none, and to the team in the middle of the final push—thank you for going above and beyond to get this remarkable home across the line.

We’re incredibly proud of what has been achieved and can’t wait to hand over the keys to our amazing clients, who trusted us to bring this vision to life.

Some places are too special to rush.
And some projects are better left as an open secret… for now.

Once in a lifetime locations deserve once in a lifetime projects.

We came to the Mentawais with a vision already in motion and preliminary plans in hand, but before taking the next step we needed to feel the land, the energy, the rhythm of the ocean and the rawness of this place for ourselves. Some locations immediately tell you what they’re meant to become. This was one of them.

Right in front of one of mentawais most iconic waves something quietly extraordinary is beginning to take shape.

Not defined by any one category.
Just a deep respect for place, architecture and experience.
Something intentionally understated, deeply connected to the landscape, and designed to feel timeless from the day it’s born.

A place where architecture disappears into nature.
Where mornings revolve around the ocean, afternoons slow down completely, and the outside world fades into the background.

Built with the intention of creating something people will speak about long before they ever experience it.

Unveiling the 2026 HIA Australian Home of the Year.

Perched on a dramatic Gold Coast cliff edge, @villacloudbreak by @mactechconstructions transforms a highly exposed site into a striking five-level residence.

Carved into the landscape, the home balances privacy, durability and design precision, from a basement wellness retreat opening to hinterland views, to a rooftop terrace complete with pool, spa and helipad.

A central ribbon of glass draws natural light through every level, while carefully considered materials and construction details deliver a home that feels both robust and refined.
