I’m really going to miss this volleyball season and this team. I’m so thankful for every moment, the laughs, the challenges, and the memories we’ve made together. Even with the ups and downs, and having to go through surgery, I wouldn’t change a thing. This season taught me so much about strength, teamwork, and love for the game. They say the name across you chest doesn’t matter, just the people you play with. Well they’re wrong about one thing. Looking back at it now I realized that this morning was the last time I’ll put on a LEGACY jersey with the #18 on my back with Williams across it. I once was a 10 year old just looking for another team when 3 coaches from VA decided to take a chance on a girl from NC. Never in my life did I think 5 years later it would all come to end. We may be going to bigger and better things but it hurts to know I won’t be playing with my 11 sisters. We’ve been there through thick and thin, and had eachothers back since day 1. VA will always be my second home and these girls will always be my happy place. So thank you to my LEGACY girls for giving a reason to look forward to waking up in the morning to put that jersey on and go kick butt on the field. To my coaches, thank you. Yall have truly taught me more than just a game with a ball, you’ve taught me life and respect. I was once a NC girl but now my heart and my reasons to step on the field will forever belong to VA! I love each and every single of my sisters and will forever be grateful for the bond and the chance I got with these girls. We truly left a LEGACY! by @macw.2310

If you would’ve told a few years ago about this day I would’ve called you a liar. It still feels so unreal. To the amazing man I get to called daddy we finally share the same last name and that I am forever truly thankful for! Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and done everything to make this possible! I’ve always said once a WILLIAMS always a WILLIAMS but now I can say it and it means something.
