LUCIAN LI!!!!
Over the last year, we have seen more rainbows and felt moments of sincere peace among deep waves of grief. There are infinite ways you’ve continued to show up in all of our lives despite your time on this earth being cut far too short.
A spirit as loving and uniting as yours still finds ways to bring people together and to remind us that you are not really gone, you’re simply waiting for us to join you. I’m grateful for jamming to “hype” remixes, taking the long way home, shopping hauls, protein powder ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, laughing so hard I cried, Gatorade slushies, pep talks, surprise greetings, and endless memes and a lot more. You showed me that time with the people you love is the most valuable gift- even if it meant being 20 minutes late to Angelo’s, and that no detail is too small- like calling to see if I still liked pizza.
Lucian- my sunshine, my most favorite human in the world, the most fun loving person I have ever met, the best hugger and listener in the world… we miss you everyday but have a greater capacity to love because of what you showed us. The best thing that has happened to me in this lifetime is getting to be your teammate, friend, and finally “special” friend. You make my heart the most happy. I wish I could tell you all this one more time but I know we will all see each other again and it’ll be the best reunion ever. Everything I do, I do it with the power of two🤞 by @macymosner
