Our wedding day. We wish we could of done a few things differently and have asked ourselves if we should have waited to do it next year. We found a venue and took their only free date and planned everything 2 months before and I had a massive invasive surgery 1 month before, bed ridden 2 weeks before and was still in heavy recovery the day of. 100% would not recommend. It was extra challenging because from catering to decorating we did it all ourselves in 1 month with the help of a few faithful friends.

For weeks after the wedding - every night I would dream of all the stuff we still needed to do and then wake up not remembering we had already gotten married. T. & I try to remember this day fondly but it’s quite a blur so it’s special to be able to have these fotos to engrave the moments.

The week leading up to the wedding I only got like 2-3 hours sleep a night because family that we were counting to help didn’t show up. Nothing like a wedding to bring to light who you need to focus on investing in moving forward. To sieve out those that even on your wedding manage to make it about themselves from the real homies. It’s a hard reality and truth to face but it made us even more appreciative of friends who spontaneously stepped up, served selflessly and loved us unconditionally in this transition and feast.

Thank you to everyone who was hands on and made this day happen - we are forever grateful to you and it was the biggest demonstration of love to us!! It was by far the time in my life that I most needed love & support. Friends that were there for us you touched me eternally so deeply and we couldn’t of done it without you. To everyone who shared these moments, love and celebrated us from near and afar. Even though there are a few things we would of changed from this day, we look forward to a lifetime of celebrating love with you, and who knows maybe we will have another celebration sometime again with more capacity to soak up the day.
