It seems about time I reintroduce myself to the MacyTeachesVoice fam! 😄🎶💜

Hellooooo, I’m Macy! I’m pursuing a degree in Music Theatre and Vocal Performance at Oklahoma City University, and I’ve been coaching voice for almost 2 years now. I love Jesus, baking, the beach, watercolor, dancing, and (of course) SINGING! And what better way to cultivate that love than to help other precious voices grow on their journey? 🥰

I coach virtually (most of the time) because I have students around the country. The hardest part is the time zones. 😅 If you’re interested in affordable virtual voice lessons, I’m your gal! Shoot me a DM or an email at macyteachesvoice@gmail.com. 💻🤩

God has been so good in building this studio into what it is today! Thanks to all of my students and supporters. Now let’s get into another year of MACYTEACHESVOICE! 💜🥳 by @macyteachesvoice

Hey guys!! Long time no see!!!

Not actually, I’ve just been taking a brief hiatus from the updates on this account. But I’m back. 😎

I’m teaching my amazing students on the reg, with a mini break a few months during the summer for other work opportunities! But don’t worry, we will be SO back in August!

BREVARD STUDENTS AND PARENTS: I’m in FL for a bit this summer, so let’s have an in person lesson! Also, send me those ticket links and dates for the shows!! I’m DYING to see my students shine!! 😋

Stay tuned for more summer updates! Peace & love, see you all soon!!

HEY GUYS!!!! 😄

It’s been a minute! I wanted to come on here and let you know why I’ve been a little more MIA than usual: I’ve had a BUSY semester!

Scroll for the rundown. 😉

I started my semester off in another symphony orchestra show, then I was in STREET SCENE as Rose at school, then I gave a classical junior recital, and on top of that, had school, choreography gigs, and all the jazz that comes with college!

Anywayssss, I didn’t take as many students this semester because I knew it would be pretty tight! BUT…. NOW IM TAKING NEW STUDENTS! So!! If you’re interested, shoot me a DM!

My continuing students, you’ll be receiving a calendly link, so hit that up and let me know when you’re available for the new year!!

So excited that MacyTeachesVoice has been around for TWO WHOLE YEARS!! I love this fam! Thank you for your support! 💜 by @macyteachesvoice

Summer lessons = DONE 🥳🥳🥳

A bittersweet moment to be done with this summer! I’ve had 22 AMAZING students, 2 wonderful masterclasses, lots of in-person lessons as well as online, and a whole lot of fun. 😄 I will miss seeing all my Brevard students in person! They made this summer so sweet! Thank you all for singing with MacyTeachesVoice; you guys are the biggest blessing!

As of right now, I am not scheduling any more fall lessons or consultations (if we’ve already chatted, you’re good to go 😉). HOWEVER, I have a running waitlist AND audition prep lessons (randomly scheduled lessons without a consult!!) so take advantage of those resources.

God is so good, and I am soooooo excited for what Fall semester has to offer! 🥰 by @macyteachesvoice

Last lesson with the incomparable Jordan! 😭💜

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching @bred.quack.quack for the last year, and she has just soared. Now that she’s graduated, she will be attending St. Olaf to pursue a degree in Music and Theater (with a theatre concentration)!! I’m just so proud of you, Jordan, and I will miss hearing your beautiful voice every week! So much love from you MT big sis. 💜🥰 by @macyteachesvoice

A bit of a sappy post on this one…

This summer would not have been possible without @palmerperformingarts and her generosity. She didn’t just stop being there for me when I stopped being her student. This summer, she has lended me her studio, given her time to do the masterclasses, advised and counseled me countless times, cheered me on, and mentored me. I cannot thank Natalie enough for what she’s done for me! The best coach and role model there is! Love you, Nat! Thank you for everything! 💜💜💜 by @macyteachesvoice

Saying goodbye to Ellie! 🥹💜

She has worked SO hard this summer and I’m so proud of her. Her voice is soaring and she just showed it off in SIX! 🤩 Had a wonderful summer with you, Ellie! I’ll always be all my sweet former student’s MT big sis. 💜

Also, it’s crazy how pretty much all my in person students are so much taller than me. 🤦‍♀️😅 by @macyteachesvoice
