Home ❤️ Jake is home. And we can finally all BREATHE again. 🫁What a miracle. Thank you everyone for your love and prayers and support these last 9 days. I have so much more to say and my goal is to thank each of you all individually. For now, thank you ECMO thank you nurses thank you perfusionists and thank you medicine ❤️ I am forever in awe.

Thank you to my sister @mad.keys and @rnmiki @boobmidgern and @cassiemacd777 and all their warrior medical friends for helping me and @keek31momof3 understand as best we could as it was all happening. Thank you to my family and @shanado for carrying me during the initial hours. I needed to be held. Thank you to @craser88 and @mnorrett for giving Damon a slice of normalcy during this time. I truly have no words. For now, we are home, together and just starting to process every thing. We love you all. My first time in 🇮🇹 was magical. So happy that I got to share it with these two. 🥹

The celestial sound of the church bells on the lake in the second slide is the one I love to replay at the moment.

PS: Great news - found a couple options for a lakeside Italian hobbit home. Sad news - Frodo costume did not make it to Italy so I can’t move in quite yet.

I’m feeling very grateful to experience such a special part of this world with Mias, and to come back to a home with him and my family, safe and healthy. Particularly now, it has not escaped me just how fortunate we are to be able to have that.
