⚽️✨Hart Street Lane✨⚽️ 4.5⭐️ 🌶️ Baird 😍😍😍 I’ll be so happy to never hear about Becky again 🙃 Maia!!! The strength you have? Inspiring! This is an FMC you will absolutely LOVE! I devoured this book and I cannot wait for the next one! Samantha always has a way of making reading feel like I am coming home. That’s not something that is easy for me to fine in an author. Hart Street Lane is coming out January 15th and is the third book in the second generation series, Return to Dublin Street. 🎙️✨Try Me✨🎙️ 5⭐️ 🌶️ ADDY!!! SO GOOD!!! You absolutely ate with this book and left no crumbs!! Gianna is THAT GIRL! She is strong, smart, confident, quick and funny as hell. She is who I want to grow up to be! Drake matches her so well, and gives her the comfort she deserves. He is also hilarious, which makes this book such a fun read. 🥫✨Bluebird Gold✨🥫 5⭐️ 🌶️ Who knew what I needed was a romantic suspense set in the 80s? This was absolutely amazing!! It was a wonderfully unique storyline with familiar tropes that I absolutely devoured. I can't wait for the next one in this series! If you are an audio girly I highly recommend the audio for this one! Samantha and Connor did an amazing job!! Otherwise, Bluebird Gold will be available TOMORROW on KU! 🪽✨The Angel Siege✨🪽 5⭐️ 🌶️ These books are really so great for everyone. They're pretty short reads so it's not an intimidating series to start, however the world building and magic system is so well fleshed out! This is also a very inclusive series which is so awesome to see! It's definitely slow burn, but the tension is toe-curlingly amazing. It really just checks all the boxes! This is a brilliant end to this series, but also an amazing beginning to this world! I cannot wait to dive even deeper into this storyline! Read all three books NOW and get ready for the next series in this universe!! Thank you so much Tamsin for letting me be a part of your team during the creation of this series!! 🐸✨Carry Me Home✨🐸 5⭐️ 🌶️ Five stars. No notes. Perfection. I LOVE THIS SERIES! First of all, Jack is a blusher which is so damn cute, and if that's not reason enough to read this book, I don't know what is. This book had me laughing so hard and blushing, à la Jack, even more! Maya is the sweetest little girl and seeing Jack be her Manny is so beautiful. Seeing him obsess over her mama is even better 😏! I couldn't stop reading and it now makes it official. This is not only a romance series that has all books at 5 stars for me, but it's a romance series that has all books be books I just could. Not. Put. Down. Thank you, once again, Elizabeth, for giving me the opportunity to review your books early 💚 Carry Me Home is coming November 14th and trust me when I say this series is an absolute MUST READ! 🏉✨Play Me✨🏉 4.25⭐️ 🌶️ If you want a hot rugby player with a slutty little thigh tattoo and a painful history, look no further!! You'll get all that, plus an FMC who is so beyond strong. Her back story will have you feeling all the feels, and make you so proud of who she's become! Besides their heavy backgrounds, this is a lighthearted read with a super cute, but also very hot, love story!! Sebastian did an amazing job and omg I loved Mollie. I found another favourite female narrator 😍 Do you have a favourite audiobook narrator? Thank you so much @adriana for the ALC! I appreciate it so much, and I can't wait for Try Me to come out!! ✨October Wrap Up✨ Physical books for the win!! It's been so long since I've read a physical book and it was so nice to read so many! I went to an author event to see @tessabaileyisanauthor at the end of the month so I needed to read the first three books in preparation! This series is so freaking funny, and it was a great way to get be back into reading physical books! I also read an ARC of Half-Light Harbor by the brilliant @authorsamanthayoung You've heard me say this a million times at this point, but she is one of my favourite authors of all time. Especially her romantic suspense novels, and she did not disappoint! Half-Light Harbor is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!! 🌌✨Half-Light Harbor✨🌌 5⭐️ 🌶️ “From the very beginning.” THE QUEEN IS BACK!!! My favourite romantic suspense author ever, AND FOR GOOD REASON!! I have missed reading a damn good romantic suspense novel and reading a new one by Samantha is like coming HOME! Ramsay is, quite frankly, the Scottish man of my dreams. He is so gruff, but for very good reason. He protects his people with everything he has, AND he plays the bagpipes... I mean come on! Tierney is such a bad ass. You'll be hard pressed to find many ordinary FMCs as strong as she is. And her relationship with London?? Those two are best friend GOALS. Ramsay and Tierney are perfection together and this story? Omg, there is so much going on, in the absolute best way possible. I freaking loved it! And as usual, it's very hard for me to pick only a couple quotes so there's a whole bunch of my favourites for you! Thank you so much Samantha for the ARC of this book. 🐊✨Secrets of the Nile✨🐊 ✨What the River Knows✨ 5⭐️ This book was EXACTLY what I wanted out of an archaeology themed book! Every time I have read one recently, this was what I was looking for! The historical aspects and the magical aspects were perfection, I highly recommend. Now, I have found a lot of people hate on Inez for being dumb. But I truly think it's just that she is naive. She is a product of her time and circumstances. Woman were not as street smart during the time of this book because they weren't able to go out as much, plus she was raised relatively secluded from real life. She was book smart, but most of the books she read had to do with Egypt. To say she is dumb? To be disappointed with her character as if she's just "another silly girl", it just blows my mind. ✨Where the Library Hides✨ 4.75⭐️ 🌶️- 1 Minimally descriptive scene Obviously, some things in this book pissed me off, but I think those things made sense for their characters. I, overall, really enjoyed this book. Maybe I am a simple minded person, but I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and I really enjoyed the romance. ⚠️SPOILER WARNING⚠️ Okay, so let's talk about the big bad. Whit betraying Inez... Wow, was I ever pissed. However, I think it made sense for his character. He wanted to protect his sister, and he was fully convinced he would be able to get the money back to her. It's not my favourite storyline, but I did like it in the end. And for those who are pissed at Inez for forgiving him, please take a look at her life and also remember that she is, what? 19? 20? Let's give a little grace to the woman. The sister! Everyone is ragging on Inez for trusting her... WHY? Inez, all her life, just wanted to be close to family. Then her closest family member dies right in front of her and you judge her for latching onto her, newly discovered, half-sister? I'm pretty sure that's a trauma response and it makes perfect sense. It does to me, anyway. Lastly, her dad... Seemed a little out of left field, I will say that. But, I didn't hate it and it's definitely not the most surprising thing I have ever read about a man. by @mad.ly.reading
