Shot the entire video on the new Sony FE 8–14mm F3.5 fisheye G.

The biggest thing that stands out is the perspective. At 8mm, the distortion becomes part of the composition. Curved lines, exaggerated depth, and a frame that feels completely different from a conventional ultra-wide.

Huge thanks to the parkour crew for bringing the energy and making this shoot happen!

We each see the world differently, so we shot it our way.  

Getting ridiculously close.
Going ridiculously wide.
Turning normal into complete CHAOS!  

and here’s how we bend the way you see it.  

From 8–14mm, with a constant F3.5 aperture,
you get the flexibility to go from ridiculously wide
to just a little less ridiculous.  

It weighs at just 314g, compact enough to take anywhere,  
and…YES, it’s AUTOFOCUS.

When the movement is unpredictable, I want my lens to be predictable.

Music Videos involves constant changes in:

Distance from camera
Direction
Speed
Body position
Lighting

A dancer can move from a wide shot into a close-up very quickly. A native Sony lens paired with a capable Sony body gives you confidence in continuous AF and subject tracking.

Using the 16-35 GM II and 24-70 GM II together gives you a consistent GM look across your wide, medium and close shots.

This is one of the strongest reasons to choose these particular GM II lenses. Sony designed them to reduce focus breathing, focus shift and axial shift during zooming, while the 24-70 GM II supports Breathing Compensation on compatible Sony bodies.

The f/2.8 throughout the zoom range gives you more control in darker sets. by @mad.vsion
