Footage from my first shark!
I learned a very valuable lesson: always be prepared.
I got very lucky these lifeguards were here to help me. Don’t put your hands near a sharks mouth unless you know it doesn’t have teeth 🤦‍♀️
This was a gray smooth-hound shark; a harmless shark with flat, blunt teeth

I was totally not expecting it and was unprepared. Lifeguards had to help me find my pliers.
