Year 3.

They never tell you how quickly time flies—the days, weeks, months, and years all seem to blur together. It feels like only yesterday we were standing in front of our family and friends, promising our love to one another.

The years may move fast, but with you, it’s a journey I’d choose again and again. I love our love—somehow both teenage and eighty-something all at once. I still wonder how we’re allowed to be “adults” in this crazy world, but there’s no one I’d rather figure it out with than you. The smiles, the jokes, the quirks; they’re my favorite pieces of us.

Thank you for being the incredible man I get to love, and most of all, my best friend.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.

Almost nine years later, and words can’t capture how incredible it felt to return. It honestly brought tears to my eyes to be back in a city I’ve missed for so long. Thank you, @williamricci6, for coming back with me and retracing the same steps I took years ago—from my old apartment to my favorite restaurants, and even discovering new corners of Florence together.

Part one of our Italian getaway was a beautiful walk down memory lane. My heart is so full!
