FLUCTUS is my latest piece on display now under @cphlightfest in the center of Copenhagen. It’s an audiovisual experience done in close cooperation with sounddesigner @alex.il.capitano Have been overwhelmed with the kind messages I’ve recieved from visitors - means everything! Also, @ibyendk did an interview with me about the piece, to read on the web and in the paper edition. Video recap coming up. Production: Allan Gram Tech: Carsten Hallas 3D scan: @_mark_william Supported by #barco & @danskerhverv #fluctus #visualarts #projectionmapping @touchdesigner #touchdesigner #visuals #generativeart #newmediaart #barcoprojectors #3d #børsen #realtimegraphics by @mad_es
The Cathedral of Tórshavn. Just finished the main piece at @vetrarljos light festival. It’s a generative and sitespecific installation that feeds from audio and physical data in a system controlled by a pseudorandom algorithm. Digital representations of fluidity and datadesign moved in a constant dialogue with recorded sessions of cello and contrabass in a electronic fused style by Sound Designer @alex.il.capitano Thanks to Vetrarljós and @visittorshavn for inviting us! 📸 by @gransking #lightfestival #lightinstallation #lightart #newmedia #touchdesigner #generativedesign #projectionmapping by @mad_es
Excerpts from EVOLUX as presented at @vetrarljos light festival. 30m x 12m mixed real-time generated & premade content, projected in the middle of Thorshavn. Truly a pleasure working on this one! Proud to have contributed to this acclaimed documentary, capturing the historic concerts by The Minds of 99. We recreated the stadium concert in our volume with 360-degree cinematic video footage from the concerts and a 3D model of the stage utilizing Unreal Engine. Nearly 7% of the documentary was filmed on our stage. SOUND ON. #virtualproduction #icvfx #shortcutledstage #ledscreens #ledvolume #virtualstudio #vfx #unrealengine5 #immersive #shortcut #themindsof99 #musicdocumentary by @mad_es
In 2020 I started knocking on doors because I wanted to do more xR projects after the Pride show. Now I’ve been working 1.5 year on establishing the first LED volume in the Nordics with Nordisk Film ShortCut. From design of the stage, writing the business case to virtual production supervision. I’ve had my fingers in most aspects along with my best friend Allan. We finally launched last week! #virtualproduction #ledstage #ledvolume #shortcutledstage #roeled #disguisexr #stagedesign #futurefilmproduction #shortcutcopenhagen #icvfx #extendedreality #xr #virtualproductionsupervisor by @mad_es
(Part 2) Real-time interactive audio reactive data visuals for the performance 3:59:59 by @_kh_marie_ studio. I used the two marathon runners heart rate data from their @garmin devices to control 3D character pace, graphic motions, color scheme variations and LED fixture pulse. The distance derived from the threadmills positioned the characters on a route map with meters run so far. Audio feeds manipulated geometry and color/opacity spikes. 3:59:59 was an experimental performance which aimed to display the possible interconnection between two marathon runners, music, light & visuals while investigating the mental phases of the runners. Music: @_kh_marie_ , @steffenlundtoft , @kennethnoerby Runners: @kristinaextremerunning @stinerex Lights: @yawdarko3000 Production: @christinebyriel Footage: Kim Svendsen Big thanks to @garmindenmark for working with us on this one. #datavisuals #touchdesigner #realtimevisuals #århuskunsthal #radarlive #visuals #artperformance by @mad_es
Today art gallery @kunsthalaarhus is doing the vernissage for my art video/documentation of the performance 3:59:59 in which I also did real-time data visuals. 3:59:59 was an experimental performance which aimed to display the possible interconnection between two marathon runners, music, light & visuals while investigating the mental phases of the runners.
