@tom.davies23 ran 50km a day for 15 days, covering 750km and raising more than $20,000 for the MAD Foundation.

In this short video, Tom thanks everyone who supported his campaign and helped make Cody’s new wheelchair possible.

MAD was pleased to be present with Tom, Cody and Cody’s family for the delivery of the wheelchair, seeing the direct impact of Tom’s remarkable fundraising effort.

Behind the smiles of this wonderful group of @mad_foundation beneficiaries are stories of cerebral palsy, brain injury, seizures, spinal cord injury, Bruck Syndrome, Transverse Myelitis, Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, paraplegia and quadriplegia.

We know that the families of children affected by a severe disability are so often families in financial distress. Walking and standing frames, wheelchairs and other much needed specialised equipment are out of reach for many families that are already facing big challenges everyday.

Your support will help a child such as 3 year old Cove. Bright, smiley Cove is learning to stand and walk again after suffering a severe brain injury during an accident.

MAD Foundation funded a My Way walker, when NDIS applications only covered other items that were needed. It has since been very encouraging to see Cove moving his legs and attempting to step forward when supported. A great sign that his neural pathways are rebuilding.

MAD is a 100% volunteer organisation with no overheads and extremely low admin costs to maximise the pass through of funds to our beneficiaries.

Please help MAD Foundation support more children like Cove, and make a tax-deductible donation before the end of the financial year.

Congratulations to Cody for completing the 5km run in the Melbourne Marathon yesterday, it was awesome running alongside him and his family to support him achieve this incredible milestone!

Meet Lasya 👑

At 3 years old, Lasya lives with cerebral palsy. Due to her family's visa status, she couldn't access funding for equipment to help her stand and build strength.

MAD funded a walker and standing frame, and Lasya is already loving it, practising her very own "princess walk" in her favourite dresses!

Meet River 💙

At 10 years old, living with Level 3 Autism, ADHD and an intellectual disability, River is making incredible progress with the support of his mum Ann and his care team.

MAD funded a Sensory Roller so River can get the deep pressure input he needs to regulate himself, independently. In his OT's words: "He didn't even wait to leave the warehouse to give it a go." 🎉

Meet Woody 💙

At 3 years old, Woody lives with a complex lifelong disability. He'd nearly outgrown his porta cot, and his family needed a safe, long-term sleep solution.

MAD helped fund a therapeutic bed for Woody, along with Brainwave and his family. The hi-low bed gives him a safe sleep space with enclosed sides, and doubles as an adjustable change table too, giving Woody's family real peace of mind. In their words: "A massive burden of worry has been lifted." 🙏

🏏 Malvern Cricket Club’s Ladies’ Day was a great success, raising $1,975 for MAD!

Around 50 attendees came together for the event, with MAD Beneficiary Ambassador Laura Cooke sharing her story and helping introduce many in the room to MAD’s work.

Thank you to Kym Gardiner, Imogene, Vicki and Glenyse for organising the day, and to everyone who attended and supported the event.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share more about MAD and its work with the local community!

2026 MAD Foundation T20 Cricket & Community Day, A Huge Success!

What an unforgettable day at the MAD Foundation’s annual T20 Cricket & Community Day! Held on Sunday, 8 February 2026 at Eric Raven Reserve, the event brought together families, friends and supporters for a brilliant day of cricket, connection and community spirit.
