On the wheel again. Today’s throwing session included a planter, ashtray, plate and 2 sake cups (only one shown in video).

My nails are too long 💅🏼so it made things a bit difficult.

Throwing always brings a sense of calmness. It’s been a source of comfort lately. Trying to get back into creating some fun pieces. What should I do next?

Haven’t done ceramics in a minute, lots has been going on. I got a new job, I moved, and the weather has been shit. Today I was finally able to get my wheel set back up and the sun was shining ☀️ always a good day when you can play with some clay :) #madpots #ceramics #throwingonthewheel #pottery by @mad_pots_

🌈Colorful Cup🌈
One of my absolute favorite cups I’ve made! Could be a cup or a small bowl.

The underglaze work took about 4 1/2 hours. Underglaze requires at least 3 coats for the colors to be bold and not streaky.

New stamp 🤌
Love the glaze on this textured piece. Thrown on the wheel with speckled buff clay, textured with a serrated rib and glazed with Amaco Iron Lustre.

Bowl and mini dish set 🥣
Both thrown on the wheel with speckled buff clay. The bowl is glazed with an opaque yellow dip glaze and the plate is glazed with an oatmeal dip glaze. They will be sold separately online.
