Sixteen years ago, my cherished friend Dahlia came into the world. As someone who was never driven to have kids of her own, and as an artist who lived a pretty “unconventional” life, I never really had expectations (or experiences) of spending time with children. So when I was hired by Dahlia’s Mama (whose home kitchen was my new “office”) and the job came with the presence of a then 2.75 year old kiddo, I can honestly say I was intimidated. But little D guided me, invited me into her world, and taught me things I didn’t know I needed to learn. Thank you Dahlia. I love you so much. You’re dazzling, remarkable, one of one. My fervent wish for you, on your birthday, is that you get to have a Dahlia of your very own someday. by @madameozell

Went to a fabulous shindig the other night to celebrate the remarkable @paulsmithdesign Unsurprisingly, Sir Paul is a lovely gent. We had such a lovely evening last night, attending the Vanity Fair Oscar’s dinner. I purchased this remarkable Zandra Rhodes from the equally remarkable Rita Watnick of Lily et Cie a few years ago, and it’s been burnin’ a hole in my pocket.
