There's plenty of things that haunt me, and my mom had said in anger once, "oh. You're too busy doing things" And this year was the first year where I wasn't busy. I cried at the walls, unable to distract myself. I couldn't land interviews for jobs I had connections to. I struggled to eat and sleep regularly. It's been the hardest year without you momma. I know you'd have loved the play I helped with. And you know Murphy's law..... I did end up being busy after the play. So busy that the event I was a part of was originally planned for the 15th. But the venue gave us the 16th. The exact date of your passing. I was up all night gathering stage notes, messaging staff and volunteers and listening to show music. I cried a little the moment it hit midnight listening to Hallelujah. Your little dust bunny baby is trying hard to find her place in this world without you. Love you to the end of time. by @madammurdarae

The before and after of the night working as stage managers for @deviant_ball I've been working with this amazing human for the last 10 or so years. She's my absolute best friend and I would do anything for her. I love you the most babe. I'm so proud of you and I can't wait to have a girls day. by @madammurdarae
Went to the dical mall and they said to not be disappointed by how tiny you are. ๐Ÿคญ September dump bc this month was really kind to me. New job, new things to learn. Kittened for my hotties. Caught up with my bestie. Danced with my dance partner, celebrating at Treys. Plenty more, but that's what I chose to add. I've been really out of touch with who I used to be. I know nothing ever stays the same. But why, oh why, do I continue to shrink myself down after rejection? Failure to have others communicate with me, shrunk down deep into the earth. Please roll a rock over me, I'm done. I still have dreams, and I wanna pursue them no matter what. I know who is there rooting for me. Decided to throw some candles down, pulled out my journal, and at the end, my candle refused to go out. It was laying on it's side and for about another 10 minutes it kept going. I can only trust my next evolution is going to be so proud of me not giving up. by @madammurdarae
Thank you @humpdayburlesque for having me kitten for the oops all tarps show! You know I had to bust out my home depot apron from when I was a wee lass doing workshops with my momma. We had over 10 performers *yes I'm including the helpers as well* and a full venue cheering them on. ๐Ÿฅ€ I will forever be grateful for this community. We look out for one another and there's always more helping hands than I ever expect. I'm forever grateful for the trust and care I see both in the crowd and behind the stage. I love seeing my friends succeed. They keep me busy and put trust in me to get the job done. I know I might be a busy bee doing show things, but I'll always stop to say hi, give hugs if it's welcomed, and if not, I try to do so after my jobs done. Love your friends, tell them how much they matter. Support them and their hobbies. Just please live a life that's fulfilling. There's still time. by @madammurdarae
