Let’s pretend this walk down memory lane isn’t a month late…

A caption can’t possibly convey how much this past year has meant to me. This little shop holds my favorite moments with some of my favorite people (ie: undercover boss prank.) And refined sugar has given me opportunities and taken me places that I never thought possible (ie: linkin park mosh pit…?)

I don’t have it all figured out just yet, but I can at least confirm that while access to unlimited candy and ice cream is cool…the people (and pets) are infinitely cooler. I most look forward to seeing the kids walking home from school, the semi-drunk couples dropping candy on the floor after dinner, or the dogs dragging their owners down the block for a pup cup.

I don’t care if I sound repetitive, I really love this place and I love what I do. Here’s to another year of having fun in the neighborhood ♥️🎣 taken in Madeleine's Candy Shop by @madbag55
