spring spring spring!!🌸 words cannot describe how special this season was, i have never been more in love with running than now! this sport and team never fails to keep me growing towards my best self, i am so grateful for my amazing friends!! and gf!!😋

this season i was able to better my PRs in every event for the first time in THREE YEARS!! embracing the fun, ease, and gratitude while letting go of expectations helped me so much, along with the never ending belief from my coaches, teammates and family💜 next up, super senior unc season!

4 days away from getting my BS in Mechanical Engineering!

I am so grateful for my amazing undergrad experience, so much so i’m staying for more! For the next three semesters, i’ll be working towards a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, focused on Thermal Fluid Sciences😝. So excited to be able to continue my studies at UCCS and utilize my last year of athletic eligibility on the best team ever!

fall recap!

this season, the keys to making big leaps in my running and life were gratitude, consistency, and intentionality! leading with gratitude and intention has not just made balancing my life so much easier, but made it possible for me to strive to be my best in everything i do - the best athlete, best student, best teammate, and best human.

i have never felt more authentically myself than i have this season, thanks to the incredible people i surround myself with - you know who you are, thank you! remembering that being myself is the best thing i can do has changed my life, and i am the most excited i have ever been for the future.

2024: the year of short hair!
in january of this year i did the *big chop* and it immediately was the best decision ever (swipe to the end to see the moment!) even though it’s ‘just hair’, this choice has really catapulted me towards reaching my most authentic self! i feel so confident and bright, which reflected positively on all aspects of my life. even though this year had its moments, as every one does, 2024 was awesome! thank you to everyone that made this year great, i appreciate you🫶 cheers to 2025! by @madcha.runs

fall of 3rd year - only 3 weeks left!!

this season meant an extra lot to me. it has been a slow and steady comeback after having to cut my xc season short last year due to overtraining and illness. during that difficult time, i learned how to contribute to the team in ways other than running, and by being a better teammate. i feel like a completely different runner than i was just one year ago, which made this season so incredible, and i have never felt happier or healthier! the support, connection, and love of my people (and freddie girl😻) is stronger than ever - i’m so thankful to be a part of a group of women unafraid of the big goals!
