MADCOCK @madcockhc

Madcock (癲雞) is a Macau metallic hardcore band, officially formed in 2022, the members hailing from band’s such as Cancer Game, 石裂符, Tru/Me, and XENO. They formed the band due to feeling Macau’s local hardcore music scene was small, a “blank canvas” so to speak. Their style is simple, agressive, and raw, steeped in a strong local, down-to-earth vibe, with lyrics primarily being in Cantonese, drawing from the members’ daily lives, and the lived experiences of local youth and adults. The band has performed at major music festivals like CNHC Fest, TSB Fest, and the East China Heavy Music Festival, as well as opened for internationally renowned hardcore bands such as Speed, Splitknuckle, Missing Link, Sanction, and Whispers.

Emergency Exit x ddd_hk invites y’all to a night of HxC and karate mosh: SPLATTER FEST VOL. 2!
We got some GREAT bands over: Headlining is the AMAZING Madcock, (You might know them from when they played Gaimosh & Splitknuckle here) playing some blood-pumping beatdown/metallic hardcore. Opening is Hong Kong extreme noise peace crust band Peace//War, Canadian/HK 2000’s metalcore revival project Stardustmemory (playing their FIRST show, after a debut EP release on Self Inflicted record’s) and HK mosh-heavy metalcore/nü-metalcore band Tru//Me (who also played Splitknuckle!)

This is happening at Wave Music Studio on August 1, BYOB! We invite u to mosh, go crazy, whatever! It’s gonna be a fun night. 🔨🔨🔨
