As I sit here trying to find the words to describe what an amazing father my dad was I can’t seem to find the right words because of how amazing he truly was.

He wasn’t just my dad he was my best friend. He was always there for me, always believing in me, always pushing me to be my best. Ill miss seeing you in the outfield at every softball tournament, and I will miss going out to the garage and you loading me on the tee while you annoy me trying to critique every little thing. Your big heart and endless love shaped who I am, and I’ll carry that with me forever. I love you endlessly dad❤️.

I know your in a better place with no more pain❤️‍🩹 by @maddi.bakerrr

September will always mean more to me than just Suicide Prevention Month. It’s a reminder of how deeply someone can be missed and how important it is to remind the people we love that they are never alone. For my dad, and for everyone who has lost someone they love. Lead with kindness, check in, listen, and let people know they matter.
