What a stellar time at the annual UKE Showcase! 💙
I was so grateful to not only participate as an officer of UKE but also get the chance to ride for a second year, and Otis really put his best foot forward to help his team @fullcircletraining take the win 🏆
Thank you SO much to everyone who made the event turn out so well— (just to name a few) Double B for hosting, Natalie Koch for organizing, all of the riders, volunteers, guests, and the many sponsors who supported the showcase to raise money for @ukeventing’s trip to Intercollegiate Champs 😼
Great job to the riders and to my amazing team members @maddytemkineventing @kaelarudolpheventing @fmp.eventing

So thrilled to say that Otis and I are now a Prelim pair!!!

This has been both a dream and a goal of mine that I’ve been working towards for a long time, and Otis stepped up like a star and made it feel like no problem at Jump Start this weekend. We started off dressage with a 35 for a test that I was very happy with for our first at the level! Then OT rocked around stadium for probably our best round to date and took that energy into XC for a very fun and clear course— probably a little too much fun, as we looked around leisurely to add some (very characteristic😂) time. Plus a little bonus to finish in fourth!

I have nothing but gratitude for everyone who’s helped us get to this point, especially @fullcircletraining for always going above and beyond 🤍
And feeling proud as always to rep the best team @ukeventing 😼

I couldn’t have asked for a better AEC week spent with the best partner 🌟

We started with a moderately high score for what felt like a nice test (lol!), but Otis kicked into high gear for XC to finish fast!!! and clear around a fun track. Yesterday he gave me the best birthday present and jumped a stellar clear stadium round, putting us in fourth to finish on our dressage score 🎉

I’m filled with so much gratitude for everyone who supports us and has helped get us to this point.
Unlimited thanks to @fullcircletraining for giving the BEST care and coaching ♥️
Words truly don’t exist for how much I love this horse, he is my whole world and more 🌎

Some highlights of Otis popping around another Mod at KY Summer HT! He was such a good boy despite an uncharacteristic SJ round, but I can’t fault him given the brutal heat and my questionable riding 😂🙈
It’s always a good time with my main man! Many thanks as always to @fullcircletraining for everything ♥️

Another super fun weekend with my main man 🤞
Just adding some time (again lol) to our dressage score to finish in fifth in the open modified!
Feeling so grateful to get to do this with the best partner and for the best coaching @fullcircletraining ♥️

The BEST weekend at Champs with the best team @ukeventing 💙🤍💙🤍
I’m so proud of Otis for how confident he felt around our second Modified, starting on a respectable 31.8 dressage score, picking up a pesky rail, and 3.2 time faults to finish in fourth— plus a nice sixth place finish for team BBN 😸
I’m so incredibly grateful to get to spend my time around such wonderful people. The UKE team means so much to me, as does @fullcircletraining 💌 and of course cannot thank my parents enough for the constant support and everyone who helped me this weekend!!!
What a way to end the school year 🌟
