12 years later… and I’m finally saying goodbye to something that has meant everything to me 💚

From Renegades in Calhoun, to Stingrays in Cartersville, and finishing my last two years in Marietta… this journey has gone by faster than I ever imagined. It’s time to hang up my uniform and put away the cheer shoes.

Ending my career as a 2x Cheersport Champ, NCA Champ, Jamfest Champ, and Summit Champ is something little me would’ve never believed. Every early morning, every hard practice, every setback…it was all worth it. None of this would’ve been possible without my family, friends, and coaches who stood by me through it all.

Cheer has given me confidence, strength, and taught me that nothing is handed to you…you have to work for it. And even in the hardest moments, you keep pushing and never give up.

Lime… I gained more than a team, I gained 30 sisters. Through every burpee, every bridge walk, every struggle and every win—we did it together. Undefeated and Summit champs. I would relive that feeling a thousand times over! Walking off the mat both days with hit zero routines and hearing our name called at awards. That moment will stay with me forever 🍋‍🟩

Ashley, Catie, and Carly…thank you for taking a chance on me two years ago. Thank you for pushing us, believing in us, and giving me a team I’ll never forget.

Forever grateful. Forever a Lime Ray 💚 taken in ESPN Disney Wide World of Sports by @maddiemauldin21

I don’t even know where to start a year ago today my best friend (pawpaw) passed away. Can’t believe it’s already been a year still feels like yesterday when he always took us to Starbucks for our granny. I miss his big smile and his amazing hugs and seeing him always in the stands no matter how cold or rainy it was always at the football game he never doubted them yellow jackets wish he got to see his fav team win state last season. I would do anything to talk and see him one more time. Miss you pawpaw love you so much🫶🥺 by @maddiemauldin21
