the evidence is all around!💌🙌🏻in laughter, in tears, in late night talks, and early morning meetings — the Lord was present. His fingerprints were on every detail, every conversation, every heart. being a director at Camp isn’t just a role — it’s a JOY and a GIFT! it’s a front row seat to His faithfulness. He met us in the noise. He met us in the stillness. And He changed lives — including mine. and the best part? His faithfulness doesn’t end when the buses pull away. the same God who showed up in the stillness and the stretching is the same God who continues to meet us — in everyday life, in ordinary moments, in whatever comes next.He is good. He is near. And He never stops working. praise be to God! by @maddiemurphy13

another july 6th! another marker of grace!every year on my birthday, I sit down and reflect — not just on what happened, but on Who carried me through it. this year was a stretch in every direction — beautiful and chaotic, full of firsts and full circles. I stepped into new spaces that felt unfamiliar. I stepped back into old spaces that felt uncomfortably familiar. and I had to step out of some spaces that were too familiar. my pace changed, my plans shifted, and I often felt unsteady. but my own unsteadiness led me to the One who steadies me. the One who is unchanging. the One who is in control. God has been faithful. when I wasn’t sure where I was going, He gave direction. when I doubted if He gave the right directions, He gave peace. when I felt weary and weak, He gave rest and strength. when things felt too quiet, He reminded me He was still working. He provided in every way I could not and He met me in the small, sacred moments. faith isn’t about certainty. it’s about walking forward anyway, taking the next obedient step, trusting that He goes before me. and somehow, even in the chaos, He made things beautiful. He always does. He broke up the monotony and hustle for holy moments of release — a soul-deep exhale, surrendering to joy and celebrating the moments that would have been easier to pass by. so today I look back with deep gratitude — not because everything was easy, but because God was in it all. and I look ahead with confidence in the One who has never failed me. here’s to another year of loosening my grip and opening my palms. whatever it holds, He’ll be faithful still. 🩷 by @maddiemurphy13

a little life update as the semester wraps up! & wow – what a semester it has been. three years later, i’m back in school studying psychology! this semester was chaotic + hard + beautiful. it stretched me, taught me to be intentional, and helped me reprioritize how i spend my time. i am not infinite and that’s GOOD NEWS! my limits are only good because of my limitless Father.full time work + full time school has been no cake walk. it’s been refining – and I’m probably still in the fire. but I’m thankful for even a glimpse of perspective. i’m deeply grateful for the Lord’s provision. on the verge of burnout, the Lord kindly carried me. He gave me people to pray with + for me. mentors who pressed in and didn’t settle for stagnation. the sweetest middle school girls to remind me of the simplest truths + joys. my senior girls – who give me a reason to step back + celebrate alllll the milestones and moments. going back to school brought up a lot. the last time i was a student, life was HARD, and school was my vice. getting a 100% gave me the illusion of control when everything else felt like it was spinning out. but this semester was redemptive. i did my best and did well — but for the first time, i didn’t let my performance define me. the Lord humbled me and reminded me where my truest identity lies.i loosened my grip and saw how tightly He was holding me all along. so here’s to doing hard things with open hands to a faithful God🩷 by @maddiemurphy13

it’s my mom’s 50th birthday! and how does she want to celebrate it? by inviting you to join hands with her as she joins hands with Love Columbia!it’s hard to put into words what my mom means to me — because she doesn’t just do good things… she IS good. the kind of good that moves quietly. that gives generously. that shows up when no one else does — and never asks for credit.she taught me – without ever saying the words – that love doesn’t need to be loud, in fact many times it’s quiet. it’s steady. it’s faithful. but it’s always felt.she is one of the most generous, loving, and quietly powerful people I’ve ever known. her generosity isn’t loud — but it is constant. and it changes people. I’ve watched her live a life of service, and in doing so, she taught me what love looks like. not the kind that just says something — but the kind that does something. that shows up. that keeps going.I’m convinced that if we all had just a fraction of her heart, the world would look a lot different. and today, we have the chance to honor her by continuing the work she believes in so deeply.Love Columbia is not about handouts, but about hope and a hand up. it’s about dignity and walking alongside people with compassion and grace. and if you’ve ever watched my mom in action, you know that she doesn’t just help people. she sees them. she listens. she believes in their potential, sometimes even before they do. as we celebrate 50 beautiful, meaningful years of her life, I hope we all take a moment to reflect on how we can carry a piece of that same spirit. whether it’s through giving to Love Columbia or just showing up a little more for the people around us — we ALL have something to offer.in honor of the woman who taught me that your life can be loud in impact even if your voice is quiet, we would be so humbled if you’d consider giving your time, talents, or treasure to an organization doing so much good in the community that we love so much through the link in my bio or on stories!happy birthday, mom! I love you!🩷 by @maddiemurphy13

I am so proud to be Murph’s daughter 💚it’s been a loud few months. we’ve been inundated with comments — good, bad, ugly, true, untrue, you name it. our calendars have been consumed with all sorts of newness. living life in this campaign season is probably the hardest thing we’ve done as a family — but we would never do it for anyone else. my dad is the most humble, gracious, kind, joyful, authentic person I’ve ever known. he leads by example, he cares deeply for people, and is always the first to help. i’m so proud that we were able to maintain this spirit of care and love through the whole process. we have the BEST supporters. this team was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. those in our corner have spoken truth and life into our weary and tired souls. we’ve leaned on the Lord, and depended on Him for every breath. in the loud, we’ve listened to and trusted in God’s voice, and been intentional to let the truth be louder than all of the noise. we’re thankful for this experience, for the people who made it so great, and the God that carried us through it. & now, we rest — trusting that the same God that carried us through this season has greater plans than we could ever comprehend. #TeamMurph forever and ever 💚 by @maddiemurphy13

thankful that God uses the details + the people💌 ladies formal is near and dear to my heart for so many reasons. it’s a unique experience for middle school girls to come and feel celebrated and seen, just as they are. the heart of ladies formal is simple, and it stems from the fact that everything changes when you understand that your identity is given to you by a God who loves you, chose you, sees you, frees you, forgave you, desires relationship with you, and calls you beloved.it’s one night of respite from the heaviness of the world and the pressures of being a middle school girl in this day and age. God is kind to use this night to breathe life back into dry bones and teach us to remember the art of celebrating!I LOVE what I get to do with my friends @crossingmschool!🫶🏻I do not own the rights to this music. by @maddiemurphy13
