more from my fav trip yet!!! this is your sign to go NOW!!! early september was so beyond perfect! the weather was still great but the crowds were significantly smaller.

I managed to sneak in a read for each location we went! sandwich was even better than I expected! highly recommend if you’re looking for a witty, summer read that is oh so relatable, and not a romance!

what type of vacation is your vibe? coastal, city, European, tropical, mountains? this trip was perfect because I got a little bit of everything, but coastal is definitely my fav!

finished during our flights! our flight home was delayed BIG TIME so we missed our layover 😭 luckily I picked a connection in STL, so my parents were able to meet us at the airport with the extra car and we drove back that night!

Chatham lighthouse beach is easily one of the most stunning places I’ve been to in my entire life, we went back multiple times because we were obsessed!

so here’s some #minireviews of my end of summer reads!!! is anyone else feeling absolutely spoiled and overwhelmed and lucky by all of the new release announcements? and all of the adaptations coming our way? seriously what a time to be a book lover!

I would devour Abby’s daily to do list if given the chance. Truly everything she’s written has been a fav of mine so far! Also this aesthetic?!?!? So so ready for book 3 in this series next spring!

Boston is so emma coded im in love

Im also falling in love with all of Emma’s potential suitors and her quirky little town. The audio is an absolute must!!!! Beyond charming

I’ve been a labor nurse for almost 4 years now and still had so much to learn from this book! While it’s a great resource for pregnant people, us experts in the field should also give it a listen! Jen has a way with wording in a way that truly sticks to the patient and I take away a lot from her. She’s also very clear about trigger warnings if you are pregnant and feel some topics may be difficult to hear about at this time 🫶

so unlike other clo reads… the writing style and the romance was still great, but I did not love the overall plot. probs my least fav of theirs at this point.

might be my most disappointing read of the year. there was so much hype going on to it but it fell flat. maybe it wasn’t the right time for me? because there are so many fantastic reviews. by @maddiesbooksta

mitchell’s book corner x the five-star weekend x the perfect couple x nantucket photo dump

Nantucket was everything I dreamed of and more! I instantly fell in love the second our ferry pulled in! Even though it was a bit rainy, we had the absolute best time. From shopping through town, to Cisco brewers (an absolute must if you go!), to a fabulous anniversary dinner at Cru (seriously the best meal of the trip), I can definitely say that this was the trip of a lifetime! Luckily @elinhilderbrand has plenty of books on her backlist to transport me back to my favorite place! Maybe that will be enough to hold me over until we make it back?!?!?

so many signed copies! sadly I didn’t pick one up, I was on the hunt for 28 summers and there’s wasn’t a signed edition. came home with some postcards from here though!

this week is banned books week, all about celebrating the freedom to read and pushing back against censorship (why is this still even a thing?!?). this is very much still a real issue, with this past year being among the highest recorded ever in terms of challenges (wtf!!!!)

where did september go?!?!? truly has been the best month the of the year, filled with travels, good eats, fun reads, the start of football season, and our first work book club meeting!

threshing day ⚡️

ITS HERE!!!!! I mean what a week to be a book lover… threshing day, Verity movie, new book reveals, and it’s acotar month… we are so spoiled!

finally started threshing day after my copy got delivered (I mean what even is the point of a preorder if it doesn’t arrive on release day?!? I don’t want to talk about it) and I’m so excited to be reunited with all of my fav characters. stay tuned for a review on my Goodreads because I will def be flying through this!

edgartown books x the summer of broken rules review x Martha’s Vineyard photo dump

MV was such a dream!!!! I will be thinking about my time on the vineyard for the rest of my life, pls someone take me back there asap!!!! the summer of broken rules was such a perfect read leading up to this trip, and I loved strolling through town and seeing all of the spots mentioned! will definitely be reading the summer of second chances soon to cure my vacation hangover.

I finally got my hands on one of my most highly anticipated reads this summer and let me tell you it did not disappoint!!! CF always finds away to completely transport me to a new place that I will continue to obsess over for the foreseeable future… take me to Tofino asap!!!

I finally started my crescent city journey and I’m so excited and sad to be caught up on the maasaverse
