Graphic designer and illustrator!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Most people know at least one person with Type One Diabetes, and yet a majority of people still know close to nothing about it. My sister's T1D diagnosis was truly an eye-opener for me. The amount of information someone newly diagnosed with Type One has to learn just to manage daily life could easily fill a college course. It can be incredibly overwhelming.

The solution? Keep it simple.

This booklet contains the complete starter kit for newly diagnosed type one diabetics, their families, or anyone else who wants to know more about T1D.

Creating this book was truly a trial of love. The amount of misunderstandings, assumptions, and misinformation presented to a Type One Diabetic daily is honestly appalling. Being able to do what I love most (making cute illustrations) while supporting something I care about is a dream, and I appreciate everyone's support. by @maddijo_design

Introducing my newest project!

Type 1 Diabetes is something I’ve grown increasingly passionate about ever since my sister got diagnosed a couple years back. With this project I hope to do my part to spread awareness and make Diabetes education a little easier. I’m going to be creating an illustrated booklet with all the important info a new diabetic needs post diagnosis. (+cute illustrations)

If any Type 1 Diabetics have any thoughts or advice please reach out!

Updates coming soon!

Menu design for a retro deli! (with very realistic pricing) I wanted to create some bright, playful branding while still paying homage to old school restaurant design. by @maddijo_design

National Parks Advertisements! The project was to create a collage out of a physical material, so I chose leaves I picked around my apartment complex. Them changing colors as they dried out was for sure a challenge, but I truly loved this project.

Finally getting around to posting on here! This was my depiction of the Sierra Valley mountains for a destination poster project. I wanted to make an homage to where I grew up and depict how distant and peaceful the Sierra Nevadas can feel.
