From Day 1—literally the day he was born - @iamroseriley has always been determined to find his own way.

One thing I’ve admired most is that he never relied on my path, nor his Dad’s. He wanted to earn his own.

I’ve watched him excel in basketball and track (taking a train, then a bus all the way from Harlem to Jersey at 5am to practice with his team before school), then earn his college degree, and then pour that same discipline into his music, his designs, and the vision he’s building for himself.

None of this happened overnight. I’ve watched the work, the sacrifices, and his own unwavering belief in who he could become.

And now… here we are.

🌹 Rosey Season is upon us.

Congratulations, Young Riley.

There is something incredibly special about watching your child become exactly who they were always meant to be.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

So many folks asking why are we releasing 7 albums, this year. It’s not complicated. 7 is the number of completion. The Carnival was released in 1997. The 30th Anniversary if The Carnival will be in 2027.

These 7 albums are an ode to all of the genres @wyclefjean fused on the Carnival album in 1997. It was a first. It was a masterpiece. It was a global phenomenon. It has never been repeated.

I have been deeply blessed to work with some of the most incredibly talented people in our business. For the last 12 years, one of those talents has been Wyclef Jean - who isn’t just a performer—he’s one of the most influential writer-producers in modern music, quietly shaping the sound of hip-hop, R&B, pop, and global music for decades making global feel personal. His genius is in blending storytelling, musicality, and culture.

From day one, he fused hip-hop with live instrumentation and Caribbean, reggae, and soul—making the sound cinematic and global.

Records like Hips Don’t Lie, Maria Maria, No No No, and Gone Till November defined that shift.

Before it was a trend, Wyclef made music feel borderless.
