Just picture this. Our best friends and family watched as we pledged our lives to one another, while the sun was setting over the water behind us and golden rays of light beamed into the windows of the chapel. My second mother, Stephanie, who officiated, spoke the most sentimental and meaningful words that I will remember forever. God was there. The love in the room was palpable. The only nerves I had completely washed away when my dad whispered to me before walking down the aisle “you’re making a good choice.” When I looked at Layton, I felt overwhelmed with the sense of safety and home. He knows me, down to my core, loves me for who I am, and to be one with him is an indescribable feeling. We made it.

When we walked into the party, we were greeted with an unbelievable ambiance. The greenery, florals, and chandeliers were dripping from the ceilings that looked something pulled right out of a fairytale. My vision had come to life. Each table was filled gorgeous details, engaging conversation, and guests that dressed the part (Wow did y’all look stunning!!) Our people gathered around intently to watch our first dances, shedding tears and cheering us on. We ate amazing food (including the amazing live SUSHI bar at cocktail hour) and we cheersed to the future with delicious drinks. We danced and sang to an incredible band and so did everyone else. ALL NIGHT LONG. We watched as friends, couples, and families connected and made new memories through our love. We never left eachother’s sides. This was the moment I have prayed for since I was a little girl. Every detail was so real, intentional, timeless, and perfect. A dream. Thank you to my mom and dad for this amazing night - they have referred to it as “the grand finale” as I am the baby girl, and grand it was. We are so beyond blessed. I love you my HUSBAND, Layton Jones!!!
