My happy place🌴 by @maddy.diblasio

Day in the life- Bali edition🌴🐚

Morning workouts, swims, beach walks, coffee runs, slow breakfasts, fresh fruit, coconut water, pool time, delicious food and chasing our little Jaxy man around all day long.

The days felt so simple but so full.
Moving our bodies because we wanted to, eating foods we loved, watching sunsets and spending uninterrupted time together as a family.

It’s the kind of life that makes you realise how little you actually need to be happy🥹✨ by @maddy.diblasio

I’m not at my leanest or the skinniest I’ve ever been… BUT I can honestly say I’m the happiest, most content & most at peace with myself that I’ve ever been🥹

For years, I chased smaller. Every holiday was filled with food guilt, trying to “make up” for meals, worrying about what I looked like in photos and believing happiness would come when I finally reached the next goal weight…

This trip has felt different.
I’ve trained because I enjoy it, not because I feel like I have to. I’ve eaten foods I love without guilt. I’ve made memories instead of obsessing over calories. And for the first time in a long time, I’ve simply allowed my body to exist.

I know I nourish my body with whole foods, I move it regularly, I don’t drink. I prioritise my wellbeing and if this is what my body looks like when I’m doing all of those things, maybe this is exactly where my body is meant to be❤️‍🩹

Pregnancy and birth changed so much more than my body. It changed the way I SEE it. Watching my body grow, carry and bring a life into the world gave me a whole new appreciation for what female bodies are capable of. They’re so much more than something to be judged by their appearance.

The physical changes were part of it, but the real shift came from doing the inner work. Learning that my worth isn’t tied to my size. Learning that confidence isn’t something you earn when you lose weight. Learning that acceptance is a practice, not a destination.

Don’t get me wrong- I still have days where I pick myself apart. Days where I don’t love what I see. But those days don’t define me anymore- they are just part of the journey.

Growing up, I would never show my stomach. Not even around my mum. It took until my mid 20s to buy my first bikini👙😳
My younger self would be absolutely shocked to see me now🥺 by @maddy.diblasio
